When you think about it, it totally makes sense : Air America the liberal radio network, will not be broadcasting in the DC metro area.. DC went 70 percent for Gore! They don't need convincing.

We suspect that Air America will blow. Then again, it could suck.

Or perhaps it will achieve some mysterious simultaneous combination of the two. And while we are normally unopposed to mocking things that we have no direct knowledge of, this material seems rich.

For those of you who reside in one of the five areas covered by the Air America 'empire,' please send along your thoughts and comments.

They replaced a 24/7 news station with this full time fraud station in MN.

They actually are not really being chosen, according to what I have read. They are actually buying time on medium/strong bandwidth radio stations with no ratings.

Basically, instead of running their own programming and ads, these stations are taking money from AirAmerica to lease the airwaves. Air America will be running huge debt until (or if ever) they can prove to advertisers that they can actually attract listeners.

Good luck. I am sure everybody here in L.A. is going to scan up the dial to 1580 to find it.

You know what is SOOooo funny ? I was on an MSN Messenger with someone that asked if there is a streaming link to Franken's show. I told them to hang on and I'd search Keyword "Al Franken" here on FR. I hit the News link on the FR front page, and your article had JUST that minute been posted ! haha ! Amazing coincidence.
