[history]
For a moment this Sunday, the yard outside White House senior adviser Karl Rove's home looked like a scene from "On the Waterfront."
In the screen version, Karl Malden's parish priest finds his church surrounded by union toughs who bang their clubs on the basement windows in an effort to intimidate those inside attending a meeting on dockside corruption. In the real-life Beltway version, nine busloads of activists "stormed" (the Washington Post's word) Mr. Rove's yard, blocking the street, surrounding both sides of the house and pounding on the windows at a time when he was inside with his 15-year-old son and his son's friend.

I saw the footage of this on FNC and have only one (serious) question:
Why in the HELL weren't those miscreants arrested and hauled off to the hoosgow????
To: Bottom_Gun
I agree. If they'd a shown up on my property and did that, they would have danced the lead hot trott real fast.

...a President who has proved himself willing to buck a significant part of his own coalition by pushing a forward-looking, pro-immigration plan.
To put it another way, what we had on Sunday was the spectacle of immigration "leaders" directing their ire at the most pro-immigration Administration in recent memory.I am so sick and tired of seeing illegal aliens being portrayed as immigrants that I could scream. Rewarding illegal aliens is not a "forward-looking, pro-immigration plan", it is a slap in the face to the citizens/legal residents of this country.
As for Rove, he's finally reaping what he's been sowing. And to the WSJ, start calling a spade a spade! An illegal alien is NOT an immigrant.

Funny how the elite get enraged when these people swarm their gated communities... It almost seems like the elites are, I don't know, completely out of touch with what most voters actually want done with the border (uh, make like it still exists).
I'd make a donation to this group if they'd promise to storm/occupy/overrun the yards of politicians, elected officials, and government workers on a regular basis. Just like the illegals storm/occupy/overrun the rest of the country.

I have NO doubt that come election day we will have roving bands of thugs trying to intimidate voters.Bands of Thugs trying to intimidate voters: MEDIA

I think we should all be very concerned if a member of the President's inner circle can be reached so easy. Doesn't he have a security detail protecting him. If not I am sure that radical Islam will take note and determine who else is unprotected and then kill them.

Who's on your hit list NPA?
Who's on your hit list for today?
Take no prisoner, take no names.
Kick 'em in the ass when they play their games.....
(Their link to the entire song gets me a 404 server error.)

....also read in another article that Karl Rove was obviously upset and enraged, as he should be....he was quoted as saying these thugs petrified his 10 and 14 year old kids....

See, this is what happens when you live in the city. First, the cops weren't able to keep these folks from bothering the Roves. Secondly, Karl did not have the means to protect himself, as it appears he does not own a couple of Junk yard dogs, or a psychotic stud horse, or a wild one horned brindle cow that hates everything on two legs.
I wish these folks would come to my house, I'll sell copies of the video tape.

They will get short shrift from me.

Yup, we apparently have some of the same friends in common. Mr. Mossberg is a very close friend of mine, as is Mr. Ruger. And, of course, Mr. Remington and Mr. Winchester are permament guests in my house.

Time to rent some dogs for protection.

I just like the idea of payback for supporting illegal immigration and amnesty programs (although npa doesn't intend it that way), like they did with Mr. Rove.
That having been said, I didn't know the group was funded by tax dollars! According to the Malkin article:
But they are also funded by your tax dollars. My research shows that the Department of Housing and Urban Development, Environmental Protection Agency and Massachusetts Department of Education have given tens of thousands of dollars in grants to NPA members.
WTF? Why is the support of a militant left-wing political group being funded by these agencies? I gotta check this out.

That's funny. Comeuppance is barbaric? Living in Southern Arizona on the border where I'm from is barbaric because of Rove's insane, hate filled policies. I say "hate filled" because only someone who hates Americans would inflict such policies on Americans.
You can sit in Virginia far, far away from the madness. But his pandering to the Mexican government and abolition of enforcement of the immigration laws have led previously quiet places to become war zones, as Mexican drug smugglers, people smugglers, and Mexican military all do whatever they damn well please inside the United States.
Don't believe it? Go there and see it for yourself. Cochise County, Arizona is ground zero right now. And if you'd like to see what the end result is, drive on over to Los Angeles and take a ride through the formerly American towns of Huntington Park, Maywood, Santa Ana, La Habra, Boyle Heights, Pacoima, Pomona, on and on...see if you feel safe walking down the streets of cities in "America".
