Hillary Predicts October Surprise

New York Sen. Hillary Clinton is predicting that this year's presidential election will be very tight and the victor will win because of "something unforeseen."
"It will be very close," the former first lady tells the New York Post's Cindy Adams.
On how the contest will ultimately be decided, Clinton said, "It will be outside forces - something unforeseen that suddenly happens - that tilts the election one way or the other."
In 1992, Clinton's husband won the White House after Reagan Defense Secretary Caspar Weinberger was indicted on Iran-Contra charges four days before the vote. Though the indictment was later overturned, the charges were enough to reverse President Bush 41's last-minute surge in the polls to within one point of Clinton.
In 2000 - again four days before the vote - a Democrat operative in Maine uncovered court records from Bush 43's then-24-year-old DUI stop. Bush's 5-point lead in Florida dwindled to a mere 537 votes, with the DUI news making Gore the popular vote winner nationwide.

Herself should WISH for something like this. If there is an October surprise, it will not be likely to benefit John Kerry. The Bush Administration may be able to take advantage of some most fortituous circumstances, say like the announcement of capture of Osama bin Laden. Or if Herself should happen to be the source of some devastating revelation, no fingerprints will show, but it will blow Kerry out of the water. The very worst of personal allegations about George W. Bush himself have already been thrown out there (DUI arrest, ducking out on Air National Guard service, suspected cocaine use, using personal influence to arrange a very profitable sale of a sports franchise), but that does not prevent a charge being fired against, say, Colin Powell or Donald Rumsfeld.
Maybe another hit on New York City by suicide bombers from Hamas? Possible, but they simply have not developed the finesse of al-Qaeda. Yet. Al-Qaeda themselves are on the defensive and on the run.

a last minute Madrid style terror attack in the US is not going to elect Kerry. So if the Dems are hoping (or planning) for that, they are mistaken.
This is likely some personal style revelation, like the DUI in 2000. The Dems and their media shills are good at that game.

The surprise will be the lack of an October surprise. Bush wins in a walk.

"It will be outside forces - something unforeseen that suddenly happens - that tilts the election one way or the other." This is patently a threat and she needs to be forced to explain it.
Thank God we have so much on HER.
I'm infuriated over this.

Now we know that Hillary is going to have some one drop a real bomb on Kerry just days before the election.
If Hillary ever wants to be president, and we know she does, Kerry must go down big time in 2004.
To those who think Hillary would want to be vice president consider this. Hillary becomes the VP nominee in 2004 and in 2008 Kerry drops her as his VP. Hillary could be of great value in 2004. But she would be of little value in 2008. To think Kerry would keep Hillary around in his second term, makes no sense. She would spend from 2008 to 2012 running for the presidency and overshadowing Kerry' s second term. Kerry would not chance that. With the power in Kerry's hands there would be nothing Hillary could do to survive until 2012.
But if Kerry gets beaten badly in 2004, then the party will turn to Hillary by acclamation in 2008. She needs to get the 2008 nomination with no opposition. Kerry defeated big time will get that done.
The reason for being a VP candidate on a losing ticket is to get exposure. As Lieberman found out that exposure is not worth anything. HIllary is known person. She does not need to be defined as a Kerryesque loser.
FDR changed Vp candidates every time he ran. He wanted to prevent any VP from getting the exposure to challenge him. Kerry is at least as insecure as FDR.
Hillary is way to smart to become a Kerry's pawn. "For Hillary, to have a Presidential future KERRY must be defeated."
HIllary's toughest decision is ...which October surprise should she use

the victor will win because of "something unforeseen." "It will be very close," I've heard others say that there maybe something that happens, but Senator Clinton, Is there something you know that the rest of the country doesn't?

I just looked over at NewsMax and didn't find an article about Hillary making this comment about an October surprise.
She probably did make a threat - sounds just like her - but I can't find back-up to another freeper's comment.

Is this a threat or is Hillary inviting a terror attack with these comments?
Taking into account the love that AlQaueda and the Taliban have for her and her cadre, I would have to conclude she has something deadly planned with the enemies of our country that want us dead at any cost.
Keep copies of this string - not that the media would ever print any of it.

On how the contest will ultimately be decided, Clinton said, "It will be outside forces - something unforeseen that suddenly happens - that tilts the election one way or the other." Did she actually leave out the "... as in Spain" part?
What a despicable waste of skin!

Failure doesn't hurt if you can successfully pin it on your colleagues or subordinates. Remember -- all success is due to your brilliance alone. All failure is due to the incompetence of your staff.
