You're exactly right, Esther. With Terri's situation so fraught with possibilities of stealth peril to her physical safety, I cannot understand the lack of some extraordinary security and monitoring around her.
I, too, wonder about the fact that the HINO was the one to report this frightening puncture incident. We must also take into consideration a twisted hospital worker or even a nut walking into the hospital disguised as a health provider......or any number of scenarios which could bring harm to Terri.
Weirder things have happened in cases where emotions are deep, motives are dark, or where twisted strangers insinuate themselves into situations where they have no connection at all.

Maybe the nursing home will do it and say that it is part of a new monitoring system to keep tabs on all their residents. Terri just happens to be the first to get it. I know that if I ran a nursing home, there would be cameras everywhere to protect the residents.
