Terri Schiavo Hospitalized With Apparent Puncture Wounds In Arm! Apparent Foul Play!

In 7:25 break, anchor reported "Terri Schiavo was rushed to a Pinellas County emergency room last night after nursing home staff noticed puncture wounds on her arm. The wounds appeared to be caused by a hypodermic needle! Toxicology tests were conducted but the results are not available yet!"
This could open a huge new round in this case. What did tests reveal? Who was last person in room? When was husband there? Was staffer trying the Angle of Death routine?
This will be developing hard all day!

Nice quotes. You forgot the context, however.
Don't worry, I get it...Dissent Is Not Tolerated.
If all you're looking for is more rah-rah's, fine. Unless, however, you keep evaluating your methods and tactics, you risk redoubling your efforts after losing sight of your goals. That does not lead to victory, in the long term.
Believe it or not, I don't totally disagree with the goal, and I'm starting to believe that this young woman has been a victim of some horrible things.
Sorry I'm not ideologically pure enough for you. But if you think enforcing such purity is going to increase your number of supporters, think again. As you do, read some of the posts of your own side, and ask whether that's a good way to win friends.
I wish Terri Schiavo good luck. She'll need it.

When I was down there in Oct., I asked for the card of the director of inpatient & residential services at East Bay. I also had a very strained face-to-face discusstion with her. God was truly with me. I was also inside the HQ and saw the people who you must have talked with. I can just imagine how your conversation went. I think if they could have thrown me to the lions, they would have, gladly.
When did they close for renovation? Were all the patients supposedly moved, or was it just closed to visitors?

Republic, when I spoke to several of the staff at the headquarters, it was like talking to robots (with one exception). They had obviously been WELL trained on what responses to give re. Terri. They were deliberate, abrupt and attacking. They actually told me that I wouldn't be allowed to go to the East Bay location without knowing someone there. I proceeded to drive to East Bay and they were expecting me.

Thank you for your support of Terri.
We have contacted family representatives and begun the process to get them increased public support through improved public relations.
In 1862, Abraham Lincoln said "With public support, anything is possible. Without that public support, nothing is."
Public support is critical in this case because of the family's tenuous legal position, and the damage done by previous well-intended but misguided supporters.
Hopefully, Terri and her family will soon reap the benefits of the increased public support.

I suppose many of you know where I'm coming from by now. A good PR campaign will do just as much good as protesting and any other means. But unless it is called by God, it means nothing. Human minds cannot possibly conceive the extent and scope of whats happening here. It's not that simple.
There may be a lurker out there, someone we've never heard of, who prays without ceasing. He or she will not receive accolades or even criticism because he or she keeps her deeds private.
I believe that many have been called by God to be there. I know I was. Yes we are many parts to one body. Amen. Our primary focus must be on the Lord who is able to speak to us and show us unsearchable things that we know not.

Hi, p! I'm praying that in the end, some good for Terri and her family will come of all this. We've got enough talent and desire to see it happen, I would think!
If anyone would like to have their freeper name on a card for an Easter box I'm sending to Terri via the Terrisfight address, please post to me or ping me. I plan to send it tomorrow express mail. It will include a bunny that I've really enjoyed having on top of my computer . . . there's a trivia question associated with the bunny, btw.
AG, what can I say?! what an inspiration you have been to me through everything. thank you!

Please consider joining me in taking the Hospice Life Pledge which serves to 'affirm the value of all human life regardless of age, disability, or the disease process involved, and reject the prevailing notion that some lives are less worthy to be lived than others'.

"What we have here is 3 or 4 people who claim to support Terri, but in reality have been the cause of the tremendous loss of public support Terri has suffered."
You certainly give 3 or 4 people a heck of a lot of power if they alone can influence millions of people...give me a break.
Have you ever stopped to think that Terri has had supporters crawl into the background because they are tired of being verbally assaulted by so called supporters such as yourself, MB26 They/you come across as thinking their/your opinion is the only correct opinion and they trample all over everyone else's opinion that differs from their/your own.
I cannot see anyone as someone who genuinely supports the life of Terri Schiavo when they constantly run around demoralizing other Terri supporters and putting down their efforts. Every single person in this battle to save Terri's life is important and we should not judge them or how they feel is best for them to add to this fight to save a young woman's life. Each head count here is important and has an important voice. To demean them and put them down for their efforts is to lose their support. The loss of the voices of Terri supporters has been caused by other so called Terri supporters, such as yourself, and not from any actions by them....it's from those Terri supporters who engage in grandstanding and bullying other supporters when they should be embracing all Terri supporters.
I have been watching this thread and I feel I need to correct something you have presented here as fact, you said that Terri was seriously ill. Terri is not seriously ill, she has no life threatening illness. Terri is severely disabled, there is a huge difference.
As far as the school children be terrorized, ever stop to think that they are not terrorized by those holding vigils but are terrorized by the reasons that those vigils are being held? Any child would be terrorized by the thought of one human being trying to kill another, especially when dealing with man and wife, these children can only view it as what if it was mommy and daddy. Sometimes the truth in this world can be frightening, and some would choose to hide the nightmarish truth of their actions from these children. The nightmare here that scares these children is that a disabled woman may be killed. It has nothing to do with the vigils, but everything to do with the reason for the vigils. Children are smarter then we give them credit for.
The Schindler's have not lost any credibility with those who truly stand behind them. This has nothing to do with the Schindler's creditability or Schiavo's creditability anyway. It has to do with a severely disabled woman, who is not in end stage terminal disease, whose husband seeks the courts to terminate her life. It's about starving and dehydrating a human being to death who is not in end stage illness and is not in the process of dieing. The laws have been situated to a place where they expand to those who are not in the process of dieing, an error that was allowed to happen somewhere down the line, an error that must be corrected. This is also about guardianship laws and the guardian having the person's best interest as first priority when making decisions about their welfare, there is an obvious glitch in the law that allows someone to act as guardian when they do not put the wards best interest first, whether it be deliberate or not, Michael clearly cannot have Terri's best interest at hand before his own, before Jodi's and before his children.
If you question the Schindler's creditability as the parents of Terri Schiavo, you cannot call yourself a true supporter of saving Terri's life.

http://home.businesswire.com/portal/site/google/index.jsp?ndmViewId=news_view&newsId=20040405005761&newsLang=en ACLJ Files Notice of Appeal of Florida Court Order Denying Intervention for Parents of Terri Schindler Schiavo in Case to Defend 'Terri's Law'
CLEARWATER, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 5, 2004--The American Center for Law and Justice, specializing in constitutional law, today filed a Notice of Appeal stating that it will appeal to the Second District Court of Appeal a March 11 decision denying a motion to intervene on behalf of Robert and Mary Schindler - the parents of Terri Schindler Schiavo - to permit the parents to become directly involved in defending "Terri's Law" - legislation that cleared the way for Florida Governor Jeb Bush to restore life-saving measures to Terri Schindler Schiavo.
"We will once again appeal a legally flawed decision that excludes the parents of Terri Schindler Schiavo from direct involvement in defending a law that is keeping their daughter alive," said Jay Sekulow, Chief Counsel of the ACLJ, which represents the Schindlers in the state case. "The appeals court has overturned the circuit court judge on this very issue before and we are hopeful that the appeals court will reach that conclusion once again. Terri's parents have sound legal reasons for intervening directly in this case and we are now preparing briefs to be filed with the appeals court on this critical issue."
On March 4, the ACLJ filed a renewed motion in Florida court on behalf of the Schindlers asking the court to abide by the February 13 findings of the 2nd District Court of Appeal, which concluded Pinellas Circuit Court Judge W. Douglas Baird did not follow judicial rules when he denied an ACLJ motion to intervene on behalf of the Schindlers in November 2003. The appeals court ruled that Judge Baird's order be reversed and sent the case back to him "for further proceedings." On March 11 - seven days after the renewed motion was filed - Judge Baird once again denied the motion to intervene.
The ACLJ contends that the Schindlers must be permitted to intervene in the case - to take a direct and active role in defending "Terri's Law" - a law that is at the center of keeping their daughter alive. Terri's husband, Michael Schiavo, wants Terri's feeding and hydration tubes removed. He filed suit challenging the constitutionality of "Terri's Law" and has the support of the ACLU.
The ACLJ is representing the Schindlers in Schiavo v. Bush - the legal challenge to the constitutionality of the actions of the Governor and state legislature. Patricia Fields Anderson, an attorney in St. Petersburg, serves as ACLJ local counsel in Schiavo v. Bush and represents Terri's parents in all other aspects of the Schiavo case.
The American Center for Law and Justice specializes in constitutional law and the protection of human life. Based in Washington, D.C., the ACLJ web site address is
