TEHRAN, March 28 (Mehr News Agency) -- Secretary of the Guardian Council Ayatollah Ahmad Jannati said here Sunday that the Palestinian Intifada has a bright future in store, adding that Israel is doomed to fail.

Speaking among a group of reporters on the threshold of the ceremony to commemorate Hamas leader Sheikh Ahmed Yassin in Tehran, Jannati said that global powers like the U.S. and the Zionist regime would surely face a downfall according to the divine promise.

The secretary went on to say that Israel’s recent attack and Washington’s support of the Zionist regime only shows that both powers are intoxicated with power.

“These attempts will only fuel international hatred toward the U.S. and the Zionist regime,” he said.

For a Secretary of a State to make a statement like that leads me to conclude that in his/her elder years he/she has the wisdom and knowledge of a 14 year old suicide bomber. BRAINWASHED! Period!

About the only bright NEAR future they have, FROM THEIR SICK PERSPECTIVE, is they probably will inflict suffering to innocent men, women and children. But alas their time will come when the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob will intervene to destroy them and fulfill His promise to his chosen people. (At this point my theological background wants to get in gear, but I’ll refrain.)
