Oh great! This sniping, monday morning quarterbacking, Iranian Shah backstabbing, North Korea nuclear-arming, european-ass kissing, draft-dodger pardoning, habitat-for-humanity carpenter-posing, piece of dog squeeze gets a sub named after him. If I wasn't a gentleman, i'd tell you what I really think of him.

I feel sorry for the sailors and officers that will have to serve about the "USS Peanutbrain". They will have to survive a fleet of jokes about;
1.) how this is the first ship designed to surrender to the enemy as a military tactic
2.) that the only food that will be served aboard is chicken, never rabbit
3.) that Fidel will accompany Jimmy when he makes his first inspection of the finished sub
4.) and that this sub will have no sonar, radar, periscope, or visual devices of any kind, so it can exist entirely within its own reality, and ignore all the facts around it.

God help the crew of a ship named the USS Bill Clinton. It is actually a little dinghy...small enough to fit in a bathroom sink, and operated by one man (intern optional).

You forget Jimmy the cartah spent his time in the Navy's submersible service as a nuclear engineer.
That is why he could ask aimee about nuclear weapons reductions

Will they christen the
USS Jimmy Carter in the same manner that his brother Billy "christened" whatever wall he was near?

To: Plainsman
That will be on the outside. On the inside the crew will refer to it as the "Good Ship Lollypop"...More fitting to carters character.

If you think service on the CARTER would suck, just wait until the CLINTON gets launched! Imagine the jokes there! And what kind of a vessel will it be?
To: Plainsman
I am sorry for the brave men who will sail her. This boat is misbegotten from the first weld upon her keel.
To: Dinsdale
There's been a few exceptions. One is for Bush Sr., the latest Nimitz class aircraft carrier in the works is named after him. Also there's the USS Hyman G Rickover (SSN 709), named after the 'Father of the Nuclear Navy'. Admiral Rickover died about 3 yrs after his boat was launched.
