Don't miss this. Liberal University policsi department certifies that Bush overwhelmingly positive, Kerry overwhelming negative, in political ads through 3/22/04!

The Politics of personal destruction, so detested by the democrats, being used by them as usual, while claiming Bush is going negative. Yawn.

The survey of television advertising found that 78 percent of Kerry's primary commercials - and all of his general-election ads so far - were critical of Bush.

That's because Kerry has nothing positive to say about himself.

The two beltway party slap fest is pathetic. Now we are comparing who has the nastiest ads?

Or is the like pro wrestling, when the lights go out, they all go for a beer and have a good lo laugh?

I'd be interested to know if Kerry has ever, in the primaries or the general election, run an ad that didn't attack somebody. So far, every single ad since the primaries has attacked Bush. Seventy-eight percent of ads during the primaries attacked Bush. I wonder, did the remaining twenty-two percent attack other Democratic candidates?

It's quite likely that Lurch is a tall person who nevertheless in his own mind can't be big unless other people are made little.

I'd add Thomas Jefferson to your list. John Adams (not "Addams" - you're thinking of Gomez) was his political opposite and the level of pure vitriol between the two men (one time, and again as they grew old, good friends) and their parties makes what's going on now seem mild.

For the most part, a lot of Repubs senators seem to want to extend the olive branch to their liberal counterparts.
Some have even fallen prey to some of their lies, hence RINOs are born.

("Mr. A, I respect your opinion as a friend and colleague, but the facts disprove your arguments.")

With the liberals, it's all lip service. They want their agenda implemented no matter what. The only friends liberals have are other liberals. They despise Repubs, right, moderate, or left.

("Mr. B, with all due respect, you are a racist, sexist, ageist, homophobic, fundamentalist, Christian Nazi.")
