I was just invited to participate as a guest on the Ernest Hancock radio talk show on KFNX 1100 AM in Phoenix. Hancock is a libertarian talk host, his scheduled guest today had to cancel and I was invited to fill in as a last minute substitute.
We'll discuss my novel "Enemies Foreign and Domestic" and other freedom-oriented topics. I'll be on the air beginning after 5PM Pacific time, 6PM Mountain time. You can listen to live streaming audio here on KFNX 1100. Then you can tell me if I sounded terrified, drunk, crazy, lucid, brilliant or whatever.

That's a little too long, perhaps. And 99.5% of Americans can't read the Greek letters in any event. It looks like some kind of Greek college fraterntiy thing, to me. I know that to US it looks cool, and we can read the Greek because we know what it says, but almost nobody else can.

I agree it might be better in a blockier shape but I like the Greek expression. It is just the thing to make people wonder just what it means.
I might mention that I have seen the expression a couple of times on tv although right off hand I can't recall where. It was not being used regarding gun control either.
I would like to see the short phrase taken over by us because we are the natural benefactors. It really was about surrendering and about giving up arms.
I guess the fact that I was a classics major for awhile might color my thinking (can't read Greek tho).

I was just on The High Road, on a thread I started about the new crossed snake and rifle sticker I posted above. Harry Tuttle linked this sticker he created, I think it's darn good:
It has an old and new rifle and a spear, for all three historical frames of reference. It has Molon Labe in Endlish and Greek, and its definition, and an American Eagle. Just about perfect I'd say!

I still like the crossed snake/rifle up at 56 best, but that is one nice Molon Labe sticker too!

I like the crossed snake/rifle, but somehow that red rattlesnake just doesn't look right.
Here is a Florida diamondback, not quite 7 feet long.

Well, the reason I chose that design was that the art was already done, and in the public domain. That's the exact "Naval Jack" which flies on every Naval vessel. So whoever piced the red snake, did it about 200+ years ago, and wore a three-cornered hat, so far be it from me to change it now. All the current artist had to do was add a rifle sillouette, and the text at the top.

Well if our ancestors liked it I guess it has to be ok.
Somehow, everytime I think of a "red snake", Bill Clinton comes to mind.

I had some lucky timing to get on at all. Hopefully, it won't be my last radio show.
