[history]
Radio personality Don Imus called CBS' Lesley Stahl a "gutless, lying weasel" yesterday for abruptly canceling an interview during which Mr. Imus planned to hammer her about a conflict of interest, the New York Post reports.
"I realize it's a little late in your life, honey, to start gettin' honest, but just say, 'I don't want to appear on the program ... because I heard what he said earlier this morning,' " Mr. Imus railed on his nationally syndicated radio program, which is also broadcast on cable-TV network MSNBC.

"No wonder Fox [News Channel] is killing people because people hate these people," Mr. Imus said.
Perhaps a thesaurus would be in order.

Heard Imus this morning saying he was voting for Kerry. For the moment... His whole shtick is being shocking... He will switch back and forth three or four times before election comes.

imus voted for bush 4 years ago tho.

No offense, but a guy who wanted to scare Qadaffi with sonic booms and rubber dinghies, or to plaster a training camp which had long been deserted with cruise missiles, is no expert...

And another item- counterterrorism 'experts' are discrete for the sake of the big picture, even if it means the end of their personal careers and ambitions. The country and others who serve it and depend on you are more important than anyone's personal career, ambitions, pride, or book deals. If you, Mr. Clarke cannot eat humble pie or suffer personal setback for the sake of the country and those who must rely on you, you're no expert, you're no civil servant, you're just serving yourself at the expense of others.

Imus is the libs enabler, like so many other personalities on the tv.I don't think so. I think he is a middle of the road friggin fence sitter, one finger in the wind blowin, old coot. Yes, he let's liberals rant on, but he does the same with the Repubs. Have you ever heard Laura Ingram. (she is absolutely the best!)
I will tell you he buys the Ingram line way before he'd buy a Chris Dodd. To him these people are "entertaining" to have as a guest, he really doesn't give a hoot what they believe.
Do I get PEOD when a liberal just lies and he never challenges? Yes, but he's not a journalist or investigative reporter, he is an entertainer.
