When California middle school teacher Ron Fanelle was asked by his students if rumors were true that he was homosexual and he had married his longtime male partner, he decided to tell the truth and confirm it all.

"The kids walked in and there was a buzz about it," Fanelle told the Los Angeles Times. "They said, 'We heard you got married on Valentine's Day; is it true?' I said yes. They asked, 'Was it a man?' I said yes. Then they gave me a standing ovation."
The social-studies instructor was asked about the identity of his "spouse," the length of their relationship, and why he didn't wear a wedding ring.
"I said, 'His name is Randy. It was a beautiful wedding. Any other questions?'" Fanelle told the paper.
Upon hearing some negative comments, Fanelle read aloud to the class the sexual-harassment code from the student handbook, and discussed topics ranging from suffrage and bigotry to the Magna Carta.

The frank admission has now prompted an investigation by the Pleasant Valley School District, as some parents are pulling their children out of class and accusing the teacher of promoting a pro-homosexual agenda.
"Our intent is to make sure we have all the facts and we preserve everyone's rights," Supt. Tom Dase told the Times. "We're not investigating an individual, and we're certainly not investigating Mr. Fanelle because he's homosexual."
Fanelle's colleagues at Monte Vista Middle School, including Principal Sara Davis, reportedly were aware of his homosexuality and his recent tying of the knot, even congratulating him during a staff meeting.
Though homosexual marriage is not legal in California, the city of San Francisco challenged the matter by printing and issuing its own marriage licenses to thousands of homosexual couples. The controversy is still pending in court.
Several weeks after the admission, the matter was brought up at the televised March 4 school-board meeting by parent David Maddux.
"I come to you tonight with a heavy heart," Maddux told the board, according to the report. "A seventh-grade history teacher announced to his students he's gay. I'm very upset and disappointed that this person was bringing his homosexual platform to the classroom. Mr. Fanelle opened a homosexual dialogue, telling his class he used to be married and he decided he wanted to be homosexual. He said he had homosexual feelings and tendencies."
But other parents, including Elizabeth Rice, are rallying to support Fanelle, writing a letter to the principal.
"I, for one, find nothing distressing whatsoever in a teacher indicating his or her sexual orientation to my children," Rice wrote to Davis.
"As I am sure you are aware, the angry voices you hear at Monte Vista do not speak for many of us. Indeed, I believe equally strongly that we should not continue the prejudice against, and denial of civil rights to, this minority group."
The Times reports Fanelle has since filed complaints against two fellow teachers, claiming they helped spread the word about his homosexuality.
"I got outed," Fanelle said. "I didn't come and tell the kids I was gay. I just gave them the information when they asked about it. I'm the one that got discriminated against."
When I was in high school, we were all aware of several teachers who were homosexual. We never brought the subject up and neither did they. We knew we were there to learn academic subjects and so did those teachers.
The book in this link demonstrates the homosexual agenda to desensitize everybody: The Homosexual Propaganda and Media Manipulation Game...
If anyone says that homosexuals are not trying to influence kids, give them this article to read.
And any of the following:
We have Naval housing here for servicemen and their family who work at the nearby Pt. Mugu Naval Airstation and Sea-Bee base. We are the home of St. John's Catholic Seminary, where Cardinal Mahoney was educated. You see "Rush is Right" bumper stickers around town and in the 2000 Presidential election the only person I saw with a Gore yard sign was the jerk who lives a couple blocks away.
The school system is one of the best in the area (rating on the Stanford-9 tests right up with Oak Park and Conejo in Thousand Oaks) and a couple of schools have placed placed among the best in the State (easily out-distancing the Catholic and Christian parochial schools, and the private Carden School). So you can see this sort of thing is a marked anomaly.
Three of my own kids went to the other middle school in town, but I have many friends whose kids attend Monte Vista. The teacher, in my opinion, completely mishandled the situation. When confronted by students' questions about his sexuality, his answer should have been that it was inappropriate to discuss that in class. His legal action against other teachers is going to tear that school apart. Again, if he felt he had been "outed," he should have discussed it with the Principal and his union rep.
I know the parent, Elizabeth Rice, who was quoted in the article. She is a lawyer by training, and somewhat left-of-center politically, but she is a good and caring parent. I would tend to agree with her statements about non-discrimination, but I part company when it comes to openly discussing abnormal sexual practices and illegal marital unions in front of impressionable children.
Recently, a teacher in the local high school was suspended and, I believe, fired for doing something similar. I don't know how this is going to turn out, but it is clear that he does not have the support of the majority of residents, not withstanding the impression left in the article.
I can vouch for one Christian school. There were NO "deviants" in our Christian school!
I always wondered what Mr. Slave's first name was. I should have known it would be "Randy"!
It isn't really. The "inclusion" law passed there, several years ago, allows for all sorts of fun stuff; field trips to "gay" parades, "special" (transexual) guest speakers, "educational (indoctrination) films and, coming soon, "one-on-one" couseling sessions to "discover" the "true sexual orientation" of students. As these laws, from state-to-state, change and the homosexual agenda expands to more states and school districts, the results will make the Catholic Church priest molestations look tame in comparison. GET YOUR CHILDREN OUT NOW!
I'm not looking for a fight, but as a father of three sons, two of whom we sent to private Christian schools and one we homeschooled, we found loonies administrating and teaching in the Christian schools as well. One lower school principal, a male, thought it would be a good idea on the school's "crazy clothes day" to dress up like Elton John, fairy sunglasses, stacked heels and all. By the way, this same guy boasts of being a former U.S. Marine and proudly displays photos from his days in the USMC on his office walls. A confused individual, to say the least.
After that we decided to homeschool our youngest son. A decision that, while not initially a joyous one for my wife, was eventually recognized to be the best one in we had made in quite some time.
Why isn't subjecting a student in the class who DID NOT ask about this teacher's 'marriage' considered to be sexual harrassment?
Would said student have gotten in trouble for getting up and walking out? Betcha he/she would have.
Much the same situation here in Massachusetts. It gets tiring.
I'm sure Fanelle's ex-wife wishes he had "discovered himself" prior to their wedding.
What about folks who decide they want to be committed liars? You know, they wake up one morning and just "discover" that they are really much better suited to be liars. Honesty is okay for those people who are comfortable with that lifestyle, but what about those people who are predisposed to lying?
What about folks who find they want to have a committed relationship with an infant child? Or an animal? Or how about a guy who wants to marry his car? He falls in love with his neighbor's Dodge RAM pickup after "discovering" he has an overwhelming attraction to its tailpipe? Who would be the witnesses at that ceremony? A Dell computer and a Black and Decker drill?
Sure it is. It's in the mind of every responsible parent reading this who has a school aged child.
