I don't know. I had the sme concerns when I read that. Besides, who the heck eats mayo on a burger anyway? I ran into that in the midwest and thought it was a regional thing.

I find it amazing that these dummies have to go to a founder of the restaurant in order to figure out that one of their main problems is SKIMPY, CHEAP, ARTIFICIAL food!

I have the same problem with McD's. You buy a 'burger' which hardly tastes like real meat anymore. And the patty is only about 2/3 the size of the bun.

Back Yard Burgers does the same thing. Only my lettus had a few holes in it and it was quite messy.

Why can't they just use a low carb wrap or low carb bread? It doesn't have to be 0 carb, just low carb. And why are they cutting mayonaise when it doesn't have much carbs? (Probably because it's fake and loaded with carbs. My guess is that some low-fat guru argued for the fake mayonaise)

Wendy's and Carls Jr. do. Wendy's has for as long as I can remember. Carls Jr. has a Six Dollar Burger that has Chili on it. In our town which has 2 McD's, 3 Sonics and 3 Braum's the only BK shut thier doors about 2 months ago.

I went to middle school near the second BK in the country. They used to come out of the broiler machine and plop into a pan of sauce. That would have been about 1958.

No. Burger King has been stinking up the joint in recent years. One time last year--one of my last visits--they were out of hamburger. Burger King out of hamburger? What are they doing?

My complaint? "Holiday Ornaments!" Look, I can give you "Happy Holidays" when you are actually speaking about a collection of holidays. If the subject is Hanukkah, Christmas and Kwazy Kwanzaa, OK..."holidays". But when I saw print ads in the BK for Dr. Suess "holiday ornaments" I almost ralphed. I asked the girlie at the drive thru window, "Now, should I put this on my Christmas Tree, My Hanukkah Tree, my Kwanza Tree, or my New Year's Tree?" She looked at me blankly and didn't understand the sarcasm.

Folks at BK headquarters, if you can't ID a "Christmas Tree" as a cultural icon, what makes you think you are smart enough to flip burgers, much less market them?

McDonald's is currently focusing its marketing on the "Black Community" as well. The catch phrase is to call it "Mickey-Dee's."

They need to fix a lot more then their burgers... I have not been to a BK since they decided all America wanted was rap crap and minorities in their commercials. Same with McDonalds.

Around here.. the Burger Kings are over priced compared to McD's and even Wendy's.

Why go to BK and pay more for the same thing.

Although the new Whopper will look almost identical to the current one, the only thing that will stay the same is the Heinz ketchup.
