No wonder Rice is going to the Hill today.

No reason to go.

Rush is ALL OVER this story. Says this is a blow to journalism. CBS doesn't mention they have a financial stake in Clarke's book. CBS does NO research before having Clark on. CBS doesn't ask Clarke ONE hard question. CBS doesn't mention that Clarke has said the EXACT OPPOSITE of what he's saying now.

I don't want to start a fight with you guys, but FREE REPUBLIC has been ALL OVER THIS STORY and said the exact same things for DAYS.

He sure doesn't have the same demeanor that Powell and Rummy had, does he?

God help us if Kerry is elected; THIS guy is on his short list!

Did you hear Berger say they considered "bombing for a day...5 days...17 days"? Seventeen days?! How could you bomb one of those dirtbag camps for 17 days?

"Burger is not answering questions at all = just filibustering "

I can't even follow what he's saying. He jumps from one thought to another without making a coherent statement.

I'll probably take a whupin' for this one but...

So far, these committee members and the interviewees have only talked about Osama, Taliban, Pakistan, Afghanistan, cruise missiles, etc.

"Could we have gotten Osama?"

"Why didn't we get Osama?"

"Why didn't you get Osama?"

"NO! YOU!"

Is this the only aspect of 9/11 that this committee is prepared to deal with? The foreign intelligence aspect?

Forgive me for being naive, but doesn't the US Mainland security/intelligence aspect of 911 rate being discussed? For instance:

How did these 19 hijackers get these visas the way they did?

Why weren't intelligence reports on the hijackers' antics taken seriously or, at least, investigated?

Why were those who did report "unusual activities," by certain Muslims, inside our intelligence community harrassed afterward?

Why hasn't one, single bureacrat responsible for allowing these murderers into our country been disciplined or fired? Why have some of them been promoted?

Why weren't our borders closed or our military put on them even temporarily after the attacks?

I can think of many more. I don't ask this in a partisan way at all. I believe that government can fail in these areas regardless of party. I simply want to know why nobody is tackling this aspect of 911. Is it just that I'm impatient?

Maybe these guys will get to these sort of things, maybe not. Maybe I just don't understand these highbrow intelligence conversations. Anybody?...everybody...:-)

We STILL get the word out before anybody else does.

And let's face it, Rush gets a LOT of stuff right off here; so does Sean and a lot of other people.

Frankly, I'm tired of us not getting the credit.
