The President has taken a small hit the last two days. Rasmussen had the President up 48 to 45 on the 3 day rolling poll from Friday thru Sunday. Today's results from Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday have Bush down 47 to 44. All within the margin of error still, and still statistically a tie, but we will find out tomorrow at noon, how this will start to play out probably Friday, when the poll is post 60 minutes, and includes the data from Yesterday, today, and tomorrow.
Bush needs to go back on the offensive personally. The surrogates attacking Clarke aren't stopping the damage, short term though it may be.

Or when did the journalistic integrity of sticking up for the little guy become a bad thing? Journalists seem to be defending their own these days. (Democrats)

have faith in the innate good sense of the MAJORITY of the American voters... I agree but only if they are informed. Many Americans simply do not keep up with day-to-day politics amd get their news from convenient sources like the alphabetic soup and CNN. Our challenge is to find ways to make sure they are informed despite the radical leftist propaganda.
To: arasina
LOL...The last time I e-mailed any stooge in DC, I got a scripted automatic response. The commission staff wants you to e-mail them, so they don't have to handle angry calls. I hate to sound pessimistic, but the fix has been in for months. It's much easier for them to roundfile the e-mail than it is to stammer through a phone call.

The dems had more fire. The Reps were all Northeastern (in actuality or politically) RINOs. It was so bad. We were ao outgunned. It was miserable. It really is laughable. The GOP blew it on these hearings. Most of everything was focused on Bush. So little attention was paid to Clinton--this is laughable. Nobody on our side asked good questions of the Clintonistas or Clarke. Very few people from the adminisrtation defended their philosophy, record or good name.
This really makes you heartsick--not a good omen for November.

At least if they receive a lot of emails they will surely be curious enough to read some of them. Besides, expressing one's disgust and frustration via email helps keep one's blood pressure at a reasonable level. :o)

I called earlier to complain and actually left my name and phone number. I guess Senator Kerrey will be calling me up to get my opinions. LOL. Either that or if Kerry is elected I'll be getting a tax audit phone call.
The lady answering the commissions phone told me to call my Sentors. I told her one of my Senators was Saxby Chambliss and he was already on my side. The other was too busy today giving President Bush an endorsement so I didn't want to bother him.
The lady was quite polite and did say she had been fielding alot of calls of complaint.
Go ahead and vent. Call 202-331-4060
