I wouldn't mind if tonight's news glossed over the substance if only they would focus on that disgrace.

Kerry's remark about Fox News will be the only thing that the other networks carry about the transcript.

Well, I know one thing: they are scared to death of Condi Rice.

And I know another thing: this is the Church hearings all over.

Don't they understand that the press is suppose to tell the truth, not make up stuff?

My heart is aching for Condi right now. I wish she could testify in public. At least I hope Armitage defends her well.

Lord, we have have a civil war soon.

We already have one, Prairie, just not a hot one. Will it turn from a cold to a hot one? Well, we certainly aren't immune from the possibility.

Fox was running a crawl on him that said something about him being single, known for "working long hours."

These guys are so pathetically disgusting I can't stand much more. They are frothing at the mouth for Condi to appear before them. The love fest between Kerry and Benveniste and Clark is obnoxious.

This commission is an embarrassment to our country!! I'm sorry for the other 9-11 families who have no part in this. I think the one's laughing and applauding in the gallery are so wrong in what they are doing. They are besmirching the memory of ALL the 9-11 victims.

No, your wrong. You go to the woodshed for reporting off the record comments. This tape, for what it's worth, was made on record, and all the media outlets currently are in possession of it.

Clark just said Iraq harbored yassim, who was involved in wtc-1993. Also that the Clintons didn't go get him cause he was duh, An Iraqi citizen. We should have gone into Iraq then!

More Americans will watch FOXNews tonight than are watching this hearing. Brit will set Kerry's little tirade straight!

Jim Angle has a funky comb over, but he's one fine reporter.

Audience claps when Clarke says he doesn't think it's a matter of morality at all.

Lord.

I understan where you are coming from, and you would be right except for one thing.

Fox received permission from the White House to release the background briefing.

This commission panel has no credibilty whatsoever, what with their continual potshots at Condi, and the Jerry Springer crowd in the back of the room just yukking it up at every chance.

You're right, it's a kangaroo court. No wonder Condi didn't want to testify at this televised "very special epsiode" of the commission. She gave them facts but didn't want to be either a dog or pony in their show.

As if Clarke did not betray the background on national security meeting.

Absolutely!

I will drop this subject, but I have to disagree here.

If anybody can name me one example ever of a network releasing a background interview like this, I would like to hear about it.

What you are saying now is that if Stephanopholous gave a background interview on behalf of Clinton, then bashed Clinton, Clinton has the authorization to order it released?

It's ethically wrong IMHO.
