"More evidence of the incompetence within the White House in trying to bring out evidence to defend itself and the conservative position."

HELLO!

It would take a whole new agency 24/7 to defend itself against the lying crooked liberals and their "media whores".

He just claimed that the HUMINT capabilities of the CIA got decimated beginning in the 1980's!

that is true and is what Hanoi John French Kerry takes credit for when you hear him talk about how he fought back against Reagan's illegal war in central america ...

Poor Condi - She's damned if she does and damned if she doesn't. Why don't they leave her alone! She's a gutsy lady to have to take this crap!

It's a wonder he's able to keep himself from slip-sliding right out of his leather chair.

Clarke citing difference on NSA in both administrations.

He dealt directly with Berger, but only a deputy in the Bush administration.

He says.

Oh, now a slam on Condi because he wasn't given direct access to her. Ben-Veniste realizes this sounds like whining, so moving to something else. HA!

Wasn't he the one who committed suicide by putting four bullets in his head?

Committed suicide the day after the 3rd ID rolled into Baghdad. I remember hearing it on FOX News from Oliver North embedded with the troops the day it was discovered Abu Nidal was found dead in his Baghdad apartment.

One thing I've started doing, is checking an unfamiliar screen name and if it's a newbie who posted a link, I never click on it unless the link goes to another FR page or something I'm totally familar with. All you have to do is hold your mouse curser over the name and link (without clicking) and it will tell you what's there.

Al-Qaeda didn't really do anything until much later than that. They didn't even turn to terror until after the Gulf War.

Essentially, it began as the organization which Bin Laden had used in fighting the Soviet Union. He then offered his forces to defend the Saudi Kingdom from Iraq in 1990, and was rebuffed. Then he turned to terror against America, once Somalia convinced him they could be beaten.
