ATTENTION FREEPERS AND LURKERS
Get organized locally so we can effect change at the local, state and national level. Join your local Free Republic Chapter - or start one. We need to get our infrastructure in place. It is going to be a pivotal election year. Do your part to make us smooth, well-oiled conservative machine - become a cog and/or a wheel!
Freepmail me for details on how to start or join a chapter. And if you are a lurker, please join as a member and help us get the word out.
First 10 new chapter leaders get a free FreeRepublic.com baseball hat - perfect to adorn with all your pro-America buttons. Great conversation starter at cocktail parties! Even better at rallies!

I hope you will include political party caucus participation as perhaps the single most important action everyone can do to advance the philosophy of conservatives and our friends on Free Republic.
Precinct political party caucuses vary by state but, but the party apparatus starts locally and goes up from there. By attending the caucus, each registered voter has more impact on party politics than through other means.

Excellent point - operate within the RNC box with caucus participation and outside the box with FreeRepublic.com.

Thanks. This is what I'm suggesting. The Republican Party is run from the bottom up. What we decide in our Colorado caucuses translate up to our county assembly, then on to the state convention, and finally to the national party. Every Republican Freeper can be a "party insider." (You know, those evil people who are really running things.)
Another item probably 99% of us can do is donate. I am not talking about hundreds of dollars, either. Certainly, donate as much as one can afford and is willing to give. Yet, a small donation of $20 to a candidate is really appreciated and it puts the donor on the list of donors for future reference. (Being on a donors list is useful if you ever have to contact that representative for help or attention.)
