As the world reels from the bombings in Madrid, it is important to remember that the jihad continues in America as well.

* The FBI and Coast Gaurd announced March 11 that nine members of the Merchant Marine may have links to terrorist groups. This is the fruit of Operation Drydock, an anti-terror investigation that has lasted more than a year. These efforts, while laudable, only underscore the fact that terrorists have already begun to try to take advantage of the vulnerabilities of U.S.seaports.

* The same day, three members of the "Virginia jihad network" were found guilty of conspiracy. Masoud Khan, Seifullah Chapman and Hammad Abdur-Raheem played paintball in 2000 and 2001 with a deadly purpose: training with the hope of joining the Taliban and waging jihad against America. Khan was also convicted of attempting to wage war against the U.S.

* Also that same day, Sami Omar Al-Hussayen, formerly a high profile Muslim student activist at the University of Idaho, was formerly charged with ties to Hamas. He maintains his innocence. Fox News reported that he "was charged with conspiracy to provide material support to terrorism after federal prosecutors said he helped run web sites that urge people to contribute money to Hamas."

About a month ago the Detroit News featured an article about arabhyphenamericans in the Dearborn, Michigan area who contribute large sums of money to Hezbollah and other terrorist organizations. The article was, at best, neutral on their activities and actually somewhat laudatory. The arabhyphenamericans featured included US born as well as naturalized. The mandatory attacks on the evil Eesrahailees were published without comment by the News. As is well known, both CAIR and ACCESS have endorsed Kerry and worked to register arabhyphenamericans as democrats. I deduce from just these items that there are enemies among us.

I guess I missed it until today, but I learned on FNC that Orrin Hatch (RINO) is advocating changing the Constitution to allow naturalized citizens to become president. Everybody is dazzled by the hollywood elite like Arnold and Jenny Mulhern (Michigan's canadian governor), but what would be worse is if some of these naturalized Hezbollah contributing arabhyphenamericans should ever have the opportunity to get into the most powerful office in the world.

I'll one up ya and say that WHEN they strike, it might encompass several states...Nuclear, bioweapon, chemical dispersal, grid shutdown etc. Oh yeah, and WHEN they do you can expect that EVERY state will lose more sovereignty, EVERY citizen rights and privacies, It will make concealed carry a non-issue when the US Northern Command is patrolling the streets for anybody after curfew.
