C-SPAN to Broadcast Old Kerry Anti-war Testimony
NewsMax ^

Posted on 03/21/2004 2:26:45 PM PST by GulliverSwift

John Kerry’s controversial anti-Vietnam War testimony is taking one step closer to haunting him during his presidential bid.

C-SPAN has announced that it plans to present it Sunday night at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. EST.

This could be political dynamite for the liberal senator and presumptive Democratic nominee for president.

This is the testimony where Kerry, a young veteran of the Vietnam War, accused his fellow soldiers of a string of atrocities.

Since the April 22, 1971, testimony has come to light, Kerry has tried every way he knows to play it down or minimize it.

Sunday night, millions of Americans will have the opportunity to see it in the candidate's own words before Sen. William Fulbright's Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

When my brother returned, Dad asked him once how it was over there, and my brother just said, "I did my job." That was it period. It was not the major event in his life as it evidently was for Kerry. Of course, my brother got on w/his life like most of the veterans did. I know for a fact that he lived for a time in an underground bunker alongside the Ho Chi Min (sp?) trail. He wrote my sister and me to get him extra socks (his were rotting on his feet, he said) and some new glasses to replace his broken ones......he didn't want our parents to know and to worry.

That one woman whose brother has nightmares and says "the government did this to me" buys into Kerry's anti-Americanism.

Kerry's Imaginary Friends Alert: What was up with the American Indian resident of the nation of Alcatraz that Kerry spoke to in Viet Nam?

Did anyone hear him say he spoke with the Hanoi delegation in Paris?

Yes. It was part of his Q&A?

Years later when senator kerry headed a committee hearing on Vietnam POWs, he discounted there being any more left in spite of evidence to the contrary. He was supposed to submit a report on the committee's findings, but HE DESTROYED THE RECORDS.

Also hosing the Vietnamese. "They only wanted to work in rice paddies. "

I did not watch or listen.

I'll get my jaw off the floor soon over the report of this statement.

But isn't that just the way liberals look at the little people of the world? It's why they could care less about the liberation of Iraq, too.

BTW, one of my daughter's best friend is of Vietnamese descent. Her father risked his life to get to the U.S. and just earned his PhD. He took the whole family for a vacation to Vietnam a year and a half ago. He is so excited with the entreprenuerial spirit going on over there. He and his family left over there (His dad "disappeared") wanted more than to work in rice paddies, I can assure clymer supreme, John effin Kerry.

The total ignorance of history is stunning. It's going to be up to those who were there and those of us who have reason to remember to get out the truth about johnboy's lies and exactly what happened after we pulled out.

Perhaps we should ask Jim Robinson to start buying Valim by the truckloads, so we can make it through this election years.

LOL! ;-D

Put in my order, please!

I'm watching Cheney's speech......could not stand to listen to that Clark. He's mad at Bush for giving him a lesser job, and he's hawking a book.

Why does he say that that way? It's NOT correct. Is that some boarding school elitist pronounciation?

I missed this today, but that portion where he invokes "Ghengis Khan" is the one part we've all seen. I have heard someone else actually wrote his speech (so much for eloquence) and I've been thinking the bozo just mispronounced it when he read it. Just guessing though.

I'll concede I might be wrong if someone can show me where anybody else pronounces it like a "j".
