C-SPAN to Broadcast Old Kerry Anti-war Testimony

John Kerrys controversial anti-Vietnam War testimony is taking one step closer to haunting him during his presidential bid.
C-SPAN has announced that it plans to present it Sunday night at 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. EST.
This could be political dynamite for the liberal senator and presumptive Democratic nominee for president.
This is the testimony where Kerry, a young veteran of the Vietnam War, accused his fellow soldiers of a string of atrocities.
Since the April 22, 1971, testimony has come to light, Kerry has tried every way he knows to play it down or minimize it.
Sunday night, millions of Americans will have the opportunity to see it in the candidate's own words before Sen. William Fulbright's Senate Foreign Relations Committee.

1 Silver Star and 3x PH in 4 months duty? And then departs for a desk in DC and gets an early out for a political career. Sounds like a plant to me.....

MY brother served in Vietnam for a YEAR and he has never claimed that such atrosities happened. A childhood friend of my, a West Point graduate, was sent by the Pentagon to Vietnam to gather evidence of the My Lai massacre.....the only such atrocity that was actually reported, and whose participants were prosecuted, and punished. Incidentally, I read recently that Calley is out of prison and is working in a jewelry store in Florida.

Just an FYI:
I was curious as to what the DUers were saying so went over there. It's as though they were watching a different show. They think this will win the election for Kerry.
Delusional.

Don't know why our C-Span cut away, but I'm getting the gist of this from your comments.

I tried & tried to get on.....I wanted to remind everyone that Kerry said he was in Paris talking to the Viet Cong while his 'band of brothers' were being killed by them....that is treason IMHO.....

Maybe the election for dog catcher.

Did anyone hear him say he spoke with the Hanoi delegation in Paris?

Perhaps we should ask Jim Robinson to start buying Valim by the truckloads, so we can make it through this election years.

My brother was there for two stints and does NOT go around talking about it, he doesn't go around bragging, or ANYTHING. This bozo (Kerry) is SO out of tune with the Vets I know it's hideous.

Did anyone hear him say he spoke with the Hanoi delegation in Paris? I'd call that TREASON! Negotiating with the enemy....and who gave him the authority to do so?

Are you kidding?I'm serious. I couldn't believe it. This morning they were all in a panic over the really bad flash ad but they think this is good. I'm going back over to see if anyone has wised up yet.

The dems seem to have such a remote relationship to military service that they really do believe that Kerry's record is a good one.
They have no idea how the millions of American veterans and their families see both candidates.
