Below is what I sent ESPN right after I saw this.
I can not believe that you have not challenged the racist comments by Spike Lee this morning on your show about Larry Bird. I am outraged being a minority myself how Rush Limbaugh has become the butt of all jokes when he made a statement similar to this about Donovan McNabb. I would expect that ESPN would not allow racist statements to be made by any guests even if they are a minority. I am very disappointed in the network for not pulling the plug on the interview or making a statement condemning these remarks

Note: This didn't appear to be an interview.
They are to be part of commercials that I believe ESPN is doing were celebs are commenting on their favorite NBA palyers and answering relative questions. As I said, Samuel L. Jackson was asked who he would give the ball to at cruch time...and he picked that overated Larry Bird:) While ESPN did have the guts to at least broadcast the remarks, they still took no position on it yet...and they still said more was to come, as this was only a teaser.

Larry Bird was the result of the rich people mating with other physically superior specimens so that their race could work and lord over the masses with intelligence and strength. (high potency sarcasm)
