Flag rule flap has one resident seeing red

Halifax Country Club owner Karen Peck doesn't believe the town should be able to tell someone how to fly the American flag. She has submitted a petition article for the May 10 annual Town Meeting that would exempt the flag from local regulation. The Planning Board has scheduled a public hearing on the proposal for April 1 at 7:45 p.m. at Town Hall.
