It looks like the Osamamhuggers felt the Pain. They posted a nice pic of US and then went on to rant about it. So we take that as a badge of honor.
We received a nice photo in the Sunday Edition of the Grand Rapids Press of a little boy with his own home made patriotic sign leading US in the Pledge of Allegiance. Amen. Here is the Quote from the Pic.
- Activist Thomas, left, who belongs to a group he calls "Free Republic," asks 8 year old Connor to recite the Pledge of Allegiance Saturday to counter a protest on Calder Plaza. -
Thanks to the Grand Rapids Press. I don't know about being called an activist, much rather be called a Private in the War on Terror, or of course - a former Marine.
But no biggie. And again I'd like to thank the Osamahuggers for the nice pics.

I couldn't find the pic of Connor, but truly enjoyed this little bit of journalism from the site:

Protesters demand pullout from Iraq
On the anniversary of the war in Iraq, more than 300 people gathered Saturday in downtown Grand Rapids to call for the withdrawal of U.S. troops.
Meanwhile, eight people tried to drown out the speakers. They carried signs that read, "liberals whine, patriots fight and terrorists love anti-war protesters," and chanted "USA, USA" and the Pledge of Allegiance.
Dawn Connor of Wyoming said she brought her children to show them the anti-war protesters, "with their dreadlocks and tie-dye shirts."
"I don't want them to grow up like those bozos. ... I think they are non-productive to supporting our military," Connor said. "You can't be anti-war and support our military."
To: Dutchgirl
I love the quote from the Mom about the Bozo's! This would never make the paper in California!

I don't know about being called an activist, much rather be called a Private in the War on Terror, or of course - a former Marine. You should add "reporter" to your list of titles.
Reading this thread is definitely an improvement over my former habit of reading the NY Times or Newsday with my morning cup of coffee.
