Protesters demand pullout from Iraq
On the anniversary of the war in Iraq, more than 300 people gathered Saturday in downtown Grand Rapids to call for the withdrawal of U.S. troops.
Meanwhile, eight people tried to drown out the speakers. They carried signs that read, "liberals whine, patriots fight and terrorists love anti-war protesters," and chanted "USA, USA" and the Pledge of Allegiance.
Dawn Connor of Wyoming said she brought her children to show them the anti-war protesters, "with their dreadlocks and tie-dye shirts."
"I don't want them to grow up like those bozos. ... I think they are non-productive to supporting our military," Connor said. "You can't be anti-war and support our military."
Ain't no such thing as "former", Gyrene!
Out-f-----g-standing!!
