Ross Perot: The heroes' hero

This is a very interesting article about H. Ross Perot.
He's definitely an interesting person. I think he definitely loves his country.
Here's an excerpt from the article:
"Ross Perot is known around the world as the folksy dynamo who founded a computer empire and ran for president in 1992 and 1996. His colorful criticism that NAFTA would produce a "giant sucking sound" of jobs being siphoned overseas echoes today.
When asked to write his own epitaph once, he answered: "Made more money faster. Lost more money in one day. Led the biggest jailbreak in history. He died. Footnote: The New York Times questioned whether he did the jailbreak or not."

My hope too, but with Adam Henries like McCain in the party...

Perot's greatest accomplishment was arranging Clinton to be elected. I hope he rots in his grave in hell.

Thed guy is a horses behind in my opinion... Bush, as bad as he was could have won without the Perot attacks..remember the debates? Clinton was up by 10 points and Perot was always attacking the also ran Bush...he only went after Bubba once and it was a minor slap..he asked how could anyone who just ran a mini mart (Arkansas) run a Wal Mart (The Country) The rest of the time he just ripped on Bush.
I saw every debate and that was the story..what kind of effect do you think that would have on an election... sorry finalapproach29er Ross Perot was there for only one reason...to beat Bush and saddle us with the Clintons.
He is no patriot..he is for Ross Perot only.
BTW Clinton only got 43% !!!! Perot got the rest.

It's easy to forget that in 1992 we did not know really who Bill Clinton was. Only the airheads who weren't paying attention.

99.9% of them said they would not vote for Bush under any circumstance. I can, without hesitation, say that you are cut from the same cloth as Crazy Ross.
Lying just comes natural to people like you and Ross, don't it?

I was just commenting on McCain as a spoiler. He was already shilling for Kerry.
Makes me want to contribute to...Nader.

Wrong. I voted for Perot but would never have voted for Clinton or Bush. Bush's "read my lips" was my reason that I would never vote for him. Had Perot not ran I wouldn't have voted. Also, you're believing the media you complain about. Poll after Poll showed he took more votes away from Clinton than he did Bush.
The problem was that a highly respected business man and job creator was ruined by the press.

Dolores.
WORDS MEAN SOMETHING.
Except for people like you and Ross Perot.
When you say "99.9%," you are just pulling a number out of the air and throwing it around like it is real.
It ain't, and neither are you or that weasel Ross.

When people say "Your vote for Perot gave us Clinton" they never have a response when they learn I voted against Clinton for Ark AG and everytime he ran for governor. So, my voting for Perot was certainly not a vote for Clinton. I would never have voted for Bush after "Read my lips" and I wouldn't vote for him now if he was running against Clinton. If a president makes a promise like "No new taxes" and flips, he will NEVER get my vote. I'll stay home unless someone like Perot comes along and makes some sense.
To: Bob Eimiller
Damn, you're bitter! Your boy George "read my lips and watch me raise taxes" Bush screwed up and handed the election to Clinton. Besides, I vote for who ever the hell I want to vote for. I would never vote for Clinton and voted against him many times prior to '92. I voted for George in '88. And I'm proud I wasn't as stupid as all those idiots who voted for a George the liar in '92.

Well your (in your mind anyway) brilliant" protest vote ...which, of course is your right ...certainly was highly responsible for the 8 years of hell we eventually experienced. While we continue to feel the tragic repercussions, it is a machination of a democratic process. Even the deluded and their actions have as much impact on our way of life as those who actually think beyond momentary emotional reactions.
