One year BUMP! Couldn't believe it when I heard it on the radio this morning. A year. Seems like only a few months ago. I'm getting old.

I'll never forget the night we rolled into Iraq with the view from the Humvee. Boy, was that exciting in addition to the live chat here. Endless hours spent following the unfolding of our invasion.

Hello Belly Girl!
Hello all!
It is like yesterday - I'm still not totally recovered.
I am still enormously proud at how timely and good the FReeper analysis was, in aggregate.
Thank-you all for the memories, and the heartaches, too, Timeout.
Mo1: thank you for the list in #73!
By the way, the Phallic Girl's name is SoldiersGirl. She last posted in August. Her hubby is home safely, I understand from her posts.

I've got to start freeping during non-working hours! LOL! I was thinking for the last few weeks, "I hope there is a sitution room reunion thread." I swear.
These threads were just so great. We all got to know each other and even though we were miles and miles apart it felt like we were all together experiencing the same things. I didn't want to go to sleep because I didn't want to miss a thing. I still perk up when I see someones screen name I recognize from the situation room threads on another thread. I really miss those threads.
