Kerry's voting record. The gift that just keeps on giving ;-)

I am worried that too much is coming out too soon... plenty of time for Hitlery to jump in... which may have been the plan all along.

Humph!!! Kerry's voting record has more fertility than an over-packed cow-lot on a hot July day.

If Kerry were to step down from the nomination just prior to the convention what are the rules concerning his delegates? At that point are they free agents?
It was not just Republican FBI files that were taken by the Clintons!

He did it in the 1980's also, when he tried to cut $45 billion to $53 billion from the defense budget, making this $4 billion in the 1990's look like small potatos.

"The amendment offered by the senator from Massachusetts would reduce the fiscal year 1994 budget for national defense by nearly $4 billion," said Sen. Robert Byrd, D-W.Va., then the powerful Appropriations Committee chairman. "We have already cut defense spending drastically. ... Cutting another $4 billion is simply unwise and insupportable." PING

We are putting blindfolds over our pilots' eyes," Sen. Daniel Inouye, D-Hawaii, a decorated World War II veteran, said of the impact of Kerry's proposed intelligence cuts. So, Kerry takes the quote and reworks it some to: "We are putting targets on the backs of our soldiers."
The guy can't even think of anything original without stealing it first. Does "Bring it on!" ring a bell?

"So, Kerry takes the quote and reworks it some to: "We are putting targets on the backs of our soldiers." "
I am sure within the ammendment there was a provision to fund development of the targets.

Good post, Sub-Driver. Garden state BUMP.

Inouye rebuked Kerry for proposing military cuts without consulting Pentagon leaders. "This is clearly micromanaging the Defense Department without any input from our military commanders," the Hawaii Democrat said. That was part, just part, of what was wrong with the Carter Presidency. Micromanagement by an incompetent, without appeal.

As Kerry, now a presidential candidate, assails President Bush's stewardship of national security, his own voting record in the Senate is coming under increasing scrutiny. On Thursday, Republican Sen. John McCain of Arizona came to Kerry's defense, saying the Massachusetts Democrat wasn't weak on defense. So McCain voted for Kerry's plan and is weak on defense too.
