Why should I read your Catechism when Church law says it best. Should have learned. It's always smear and accusation with you guys till the truth is posted in form of link. You are the liar here sir as readily shown several times in just the past half hour. Here's the link And what does it say: "We decree that on each Lord's day the oblation of the altar should be made by men and women in bread and wine, in order that by means of these sacrifices they may be released from the burden of their sins." My my my. Just as I said. You teach it forgives sin while Paul teaches that partaking in sin Damns you. Who do we believe, you or Paul...

Why isn't the woman embracing an infant child? Why embrace the SUN?

Note the lower hand of King Ashur-nasir-pal II in the above stele. On the wrist is the sunburst symbol. On the right, the pagan sunburst is on the glove of Pope John XXIII.  Clicking on the image of the stele will take you to the British Museum.

Why did the popes borrow so much from the PAGAN kings??

The depictions of the pagan kings on the ancient standing stones (stela) above, show a strip of cloth (lappet) hanging from the rear of the headgear. These lappets are also present on the papal mitre and tiara, shown at left, and partially visible in the photos of popes above.

dagon from the Hebrew
1712 Dagown daw-gohn' from 1709; the fish-god; Dagon, a Philistine deity: --Dagon.
Dagon = "a fish"
1) a Philistine deity of fertility; represented with the face and hands of a man and the tail of a fish

The fish-like form was a symbol of fruitfulness, and as such was likely to be adopted by seafaring tribes in the representation of their gods, which is why Rome who ruled the seas easily adopted the mystery religion from the Philistines.  Here we see carvings and diagrams of Dagon priests and their fish head hats along side the Pope with his similar fish head hat. The carving on the left shows the Dagon priests sprinkling holy water.

Your turn.

Your post or its link does not list publication date, publisher, or most importantly, how that post might differ with or agree with the current Cathechism of the Catholic Church.

"Why should you read the Cathechism?" Some kind of interest...any kind of interest...in the teachings of the Catholic Church, that's why.

But an arrogant refusal to consult it to learn actual Catholic teaching betrays your motivation: to lie and twist and quote out of context and to fit your own predetermined hate of His Church.

It isn't an arrogant refusal. I quoted you from Church law.

Why doesn't the Statue of Liberty embrace a child, rather than a tablet?

Simple, it is not meant to be a portrayal of Mary. Nor is the statue you portrayed in your post. It's not Mary, and it is not worshipped. If it were a statue of Mary, it still would not be worshipped, except in your diseased analysis.

ok, ok, let's post a Cathechism Q&A: here And what does it say? Exactly what I said

Q. 896. Has the Holy Eucharist any other effect? A. The Holy Eucharist remits venial sins by disposing us to perform acts of love and contrition. It preserves us from mortal sin by exciting us to greater fervor and strengthening us against temptation.

I really don't know why I bother. You have no concept of the terms 'venial sin' and 'mortal sin' and this thread is an extend realization of 'pearls before swine.' If every Catholic on this forum spent a week (each) explaining Catholic teaching to you, you would gain no benefit, because you have no inclination towards fairness to Christ's Church. You exist only to twist and smear.

You are quoting the hatemonger's hatemonger, Jack Chick.

It is the Catholic-hater's last desperate move, and you have made it.

You have no understanding of 'venial sin' and you also apparently have no idea what a 'subordinate clause' is.

Now you're handwringing. It says that it forgives sin. Period. I know why you bother; because you have to cover for your church and unfortuneately, it's an indefensible position. You say one thing and we look it up and find that your church teaches what we say it teaches. I just did a google search and grabbed the first two links I found.
And both betrayed you a liar. I knew it in advance because I know what your church teaches. You guys just seem to think we all say this stuff cause we hate you. We say it because it's the facts and if we hated you we'd just shut up and let you be misled.
