Flip flops? Your boy Bush make Kerry look like a minor leaguer. See below:

1. Bush is against campaign finance reform; then he's for it. 2. Bush is against a Homeland Security Department; then he's for it. 3. Bush is against a 9/11 commission; then he's for it. 4. Bush is against an Iraq WMD investigation; then he's for it. 5. Bush is against nation building; then he's for it. 6. Bush is against deficits; then he's for them. 7. Bush is for free trade; then he's for tariffs on steel; then he's against them again. 8. Bush is against the U.S. taking a role in the Israeli Palestinian conflict; then he pushes for a "road map" and a Palestinian State. 9. Bush is for states right to decide on gay marriage, then he is for changing the constitution. 10. Bush first says he'll provide money for first responders (fire, police, emergency), then he doesn't. 11. Bush first says that 'help is on the way' to the military ... then he cuts benefits 12. Bush-"The most important thing is for us to find Osama bin Laden. Bush-"I don't know where he is. I have no idea and I really don't care. 13. Bush claims to be in favor of the environment and then secretly starts drilling on Padre Island. 14. Bush talks about helping education and increases mandates while cutting funding. 15. Bush first says the U.S. won't negotiate with North Korea. Now he will 16. Bush goes to Bob Jones University. Then say's he shouldn't have. 17. Bush said he would demand a U.N. Security Council vote on whether to sanction military action against Iraq. Later Bush announced he would not call for a vote 18. Bush said the "mission accomplished" banner was put up by the sailors. Bush later admits it was his advance team. 19. Bush was for fingerprinting and photographing Mexicans who enter the US. Bush after meeting with Pres. Fox, he's against it

Bush must be 'secretly drilling' under the cover of 'spring break'.

You LEFTISTS sully the word liberal. You're not.

Classical Liberalism:

*an ethical emphasis on the individual as a rights-bearer prior to the existence of any state, community, or society,

*the support of the right of property carried to its economic conclusion, a free-market system,

*the desire for a limited Constitutional government to protect individuals' rights from others and from its own expansion, and

*the universal (global and ahistorical) applicability of these above convictions.

As long as he made the points, and he has been banned, why not refute the allegations? That's what we do here at FreeRepublic,,,, when we have our thinking caps on.

Its apparently more fun to call names and post silly pictures(and ping others to do the same).

Liberals also accuse other people of doing things they didn't do, such as calling someone a loser. You signing on for that?

You want the troll's positions refuted? Refute them.

You two could also be refuting the allegations, but instead you choose to mock us. For mocking the troll.

It's sad to see the double standards that emerge as the drive for power itself overcomes the original goals.

Democrats do it, it's bad. Republicans do it, it's ignored. PRECISELY what the liberal media does.

Careful... You're expecting some in FR to be above the fray and enforce their argument rather than raising their voice.

BTW for those that would flame me for that comment, I don't suggest that I could support an argument against LiberalThinker's accusations. I depend on far more intelligent Freepers for that.

Look, if the little trolls would actually engage in a diologue it would be like child's play to refute them. I have done it several times, refuting a troll post point by point. Good fun.

But, they post this drivel and then run back to DU to tell their fellow mutants how that really socked it to the freepers. They are no longer here. Ultimately, it ends in us typing the refutations to ourselves. And where's the fun in that?

If I considered others far more intelligent than me, I would be quite hesitant to criticize them.

You will notice Protagoras could have refuted the assertions three times over. He/she has no interest in doing so. Nor do I - not for a troll. But I welcome the opportunity in the course of reasoned debate - which occurs constantly on FR! Just not with trolls.

I'm not mocking you, I'm trying to get you to differentiate yourself from the opposition.

The truth is, many of the allegations would be hard if not impossible to refute. ALL politicians flip flop. They change their minds. They change for polling reasons. They forget what they said to one group they were pandering to when pandering to a different group.

It's fair to point out that Kerry does it. In fact he takes it to an artform. Clinton did it best of all. He called it "triangulation".

It is also fair game to be called on it yourself. It's politics, not bean bag.
