Bill O'Reiley - Zwahajiri Killed By US NAVY SEALS
Posted on 03/18/2004 5:09:08 PM PST by dictatorMA
Accd to Col. Hunt on O'Reiley, US NAVY SEALS believe they have killed Osamas right hand man.
Let's hope it's all true!
If so I wonder if the rats would be willing to go along with another special declaration in congress saying the world is a safer place with this guy dead and gone...

Don't bet on it, they'll be trying to defund the Seals next.

I think there may be something to this one. The pentagon wont confirm anything but told FOX to go ahead with their story.

For those not watching, O'Reilly said that FOX has info that Task force 121, along with Pakistani troops, have killed a man they believe to be Al-Zawahiri and 21 other Al-Qaeda members.
They're saying that "it's all over but the DNA (testing)."
Still speculative, though.

This was a Pakistani forces operation. No American troops were involved {wink, wink, nudge, nudge}.

Yet two American troops were killed and two wounded today in "Afghanistan". They died as heroes.

Be cool. If the Pakis want to act like we weren't there and it's their show, fine by me as long as the bad guy is dead. Give Mushi the cover he needs at home, we still need him and he's really been a stand up guy.

Did they really say that at the Pentagon? To go ahead with the story? I missed this reporting...

Right on the Dim's defunding vote. O'Reilly was pretty good getting that information.
Now this boring stuff on old polls, is nothing.

Even if the headline is true, I really doubt they would say the SEALS did it. They would never release anything more specific than 'special operations forces' (The special ops from all services fall under special ops command) The Spec. Ops community is very well integrated...even if it was SEALS who pulled the trigger, they likely had air transport and attack helo support from the army, fixed wing support from the AF, direct assistance from other spec ops guys on the ground etc. That is why they wouldn't make an attribution to one service's contribution over the others.

What is with O'Reilly and Larry Sabato talking about Bush/Cheney in trouble? I don't get it.
