PUTRAJAYA, Malaysia (AP) -- Former Malaysian Prime Minister Mahathir Mohamad endorsed Democratic contender John Kerry in the U.S. presidential race Thursday, saying he would keep the world safer than President Bush.
"I think Kerry would be much more willing to listen to the voices of people and of the rest of the world," Mahathir, who retired in October after 22 years in power, told The Associated Press in an interview.

No doubt--and their contempt of him is well-deserved. Why not do the world a favor, and let Mahathir know who Soros is supporting?

More Jihadi for Kerry.

Stay the hell out of our election, foreigner! God, I hope the media reports this. If Americans knew how these Kerry supporting "leaders" were manipulating the election (or at least trying to) then Bush would win in a landslide.

Did you happen to have on Rush on earlier?
When he mentioned high level dems(H Clinton included) met w/ Socialists in order to set their agendas so they be the same?
He read it out of a Netherlands paper, I think.

1) Mahathir is probably senile
2) Mahathir doesn't know Kerry is tight with Soros. If he finds out, he will backpeddle but quick!
To: OXENinFLA
No, I missed that, but that was my first thought.

1) Mahathir is probably senile No, he's participating in "Global Democracy". Kerry is encouraging it, and the subsidiary belief among the media that foreigners' opinions are uninterested and fair.

Soros is singlehandedly caused anti semitism in much of Asia. In Singapore, Malaysia, and Thailand, he is "The Devil"..I live in the USA(home grown) and Malaysia.
BUT I THOUGHT CHRISTIANITY WAS THE CAUSE OF ANTISEMITISM! THESE ARE NON-CHRISTIAN COUNTRIES. YOU'D BETTER LET ABE FOXMAN AND OTHER CHRISTIAN-HATERS KNOW THAT Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand have TURNED CHRISTIAN!
To: churchillbuff
Correct!
To: Shermy
Mahathir is either senile, or obtuse. He is an anti semite..and yet he doesn't know the Kerry-Soros ties?? This is hard to swallow. I live in KL half the year, and those close to Mahathir tell me he is "lost" as it were:)

the whole thing is so ironic that I don't know where to start:
1) As others remarked, Soros supports Kerry over Bush.
2) Remember Al Gore? He publicly blasted Mahathir for his political persecution of (then) Deputy Malaysian PM Anwar in APEC summit 1998. And Gore endorses Kerry now - and in addition Kerry is even firmer on the "left-wing human rights" camp than Gore will ever be.
3) Kerry supports gay marriage. Mahathir publicly blasted homosexuality.
4) related to 3) Kerry is the true blue-blood post-Christian elite in the US (which is relatively rare in the US when compared with European countries) and he has Hollywood behind him. What happened to the Asian values, Mahathir?

"What happened to the Asian values, Mahathir?"
Good question.....no answer!
