Kerry Tales or Fairy Tales?
CNSNews.com Commentary ^ | March 18, 2004 | By Ron Marr

Posted on 03/18/2004 6:29:40 AM PST by F14 Pilot

Is he an international man of mystery? Does he have psychic powers beyond the realm of mere mortals? Could it be possible that John Kerry truly knows the innermost secrets and desires of all world leaders?

Or is he just a self-serving politician of the Kennedy brand who will do anything, say anything, obfuscate and deceive with abandon in his quest to occupy the Oval Office.

Frankly, I'd bet on the latter.

As time goes on, John Kerry seems to be exhibiting traits frighteningly similar to the delusions of Al "I invented the Internet" Gore.

In truth, I suspect many of the liberals went to the same training facility. They appear to exist in a fantasy world, one where those with wealth and privilege are to be respected and adored and those who work for a living are little but slack-jawed yokels who exist for the next six-pack and Friday night hog-butchering.

Let''s look at the facts. Kerry asserted that he has met with foreign leaders (he later changed this to merely "having spoken with foreign leaders") who said they wanted him to beat President Bush. The truth is that Kerry has made no foreign visits since the start of last year. He further refuses to divulge the names of the fawning foreign leaders.

"I've met with foreign leaders who can't go out and say this publicly," said Kerry, "but boy, they look at you and say; 'You've got to win this. You've got to beat this guy. We need a new policy.' Things like that."

Uh huh...right. I watched Kerry berate a gentleman in a town hall meeting who asked him the names of those leaders. To deflect the question, Kerry harangued the man to reveal who he voted for last election. When the fellow replied "George Bush," the pro-Kerry crowd broke into jeers and cat-calls. This was more a "stacked deck" than a "town hall," and Kerry arrogantly turned his back and walked away.

Yes...this is the sign of a man who is honest. This is indicative of the character of a man who claims he wants to dispense with partisan politics. Instead of giving an honest response...Kerry incited a metaphorical lynch mob.

In fairness, I do believe there are world leaders who would like John Kerry to win. I also believe they reside in Iran, North Korea and Syria.

Over the past few week, John Kerry has called his opponent a liar and a crook...of course claiming (when caught on tape) that he was referring to the Republican National Committee and not George Bush.

His interview with Rolling Stone magazine contained more expletives in reference to the current administration and its policies than one might expect to hear in a biker bar on Saturday night. Like most liberals, he felt no remorse at acting in such a coarse and crude manner, refusing to apologize for his idiotic behavior.

John Kerry screams bloody murder when his voting history is publicized, calling it an unfair attack. No John, it's simply a record of your stated beliefs. It is true that he has voted to raise taxes hundreds of times. It is true that he has often been a staunch advocate of cutbacks in defense spending. His present views, when voiced by Republicans, are also branded as a smear campaign.

Kerry doesn't want folks to know that his proposed environmental policies are far more draconian than those that existed during the Clinton reign, that they would in fact bankrupt the western states that rely on logging, mining and ranching for survival.

He doesn't want it revealed that he is an advocate of United Nations involvement in the affairs of the United States. He claims to support the Second Amendment...but doesn't tell you that he wishes to re-write it to include licensing, registration and confiscation of many legal weapons. He won't tell you he dreams of a Socialist Utopia heavy on taxation but short on liberty.

My favorite Kerry move to date, however, was when he took policy advice from his 27-year-old daughter. Vanessa Kerry, who apparently thinks she is head of the CIA. She claimed that the ouster of Haitian president Jean-Bertrand Aristide was orchestrated by George Bush. Rather than tell her to shut up, Kerry said this.

"I think there ought to be an investigation. I have a very close friend in Massachusetts who talked directly to people who have made that allegation. We need to know the truth of what happened," he said.

Sorry John, but hearsay evidence from a friend of a friend of a friend of a friend in Massachusetts is not accepted as evidence in a court of law.

Jean-Bertrand Aristide, really maybe that good friend was her daddy that has been talking to the resigned, run away dictator.

Kerry harangued the man to reveal who he voted for last election.

Anyone who's paying attention learned something other than the man's party affiliation....

We've learned that a

President Kerry would demand to know what you wrote on your secret ballot.....

if it helped his cause.

Vice President Cheney's taunts yesterday is why I think there is more to the story.

These lying crooked liberals have been after President Bush's secret INTEL for over a year now and there just maybe a reason why.

Just rec'd an email this morning showing an amazing resemblance between Ketchup man and Gomer Pyle. Get these two fellows in uniform and stand side-by-side and Ketchup man could pass as Gomer's double. Shazammmmm!

Also, did you see the latest communist moveon.org attack on Rumsfeld. See below for details:

>From: "Peter Schurman, MoveOn.Org"
>To:
>Subject: Rumsfeld -- caught on camera
>Date: Wed, 17 Mar 2004 10:47:19 -0800
>
>Dear MoveOn member,
>
>A year ago today, the Bush Administration was making its final push toward war in Iraq. We know now that much of what we were told about the threat that Iraq posed was untrue. And rather than own up to their distortion of the facts, Bush administration officials are denying they ever said such things.
>
>But this Sunday, Defense Secretary Donald Rumsfeld got caught blatantly contradicting his past statements, and we have the video clip. You can check it out at:
>
> http://www.moveon.org/censure/caughtonvideo/
>
>Congress' responsibility is to hold President Bush and his administration accountable for this pattern of deception -- that's why we have the Constitution. But instead, Congress today will debate a resolution congratulating Bush, for (they claim) making the world safer.
>
>We must demand, at a minimum, that Congress censure the President. It's our Representatives' duty to formally reprimand him for misleading us. And we've got to demand it today, while they're debating their anniversary resolution.
>
>Please call your Representative now, at:
>
> Congressman Ralph Regula
> DC Phone: 202-225-3876
>
>Make it clear that you are a constituent, then let the staffers know you expect nothing less than Censure.
>
>Our campaign will be stronger if you let us know you're calling, at:
>
>http://www.moveon.org/callmadeall3.html?id=2467-3319526-D_9IW1Tk3jLoER4IwQoTvg
>
>Today, we're holding a press conference at the Capitol, unveiling a new TV ad calling for Censure, and a New York Times ad on the same theme.
>
>And we're taking our Censure petition, signed by more than half a million of us, to Congress, hand-delivering it to each Representative's office. The event is co-sponsored by Win Without War, True Majority, and Working Assets.
>
>Please help reinforce this powerful message with a single phone call now.
>
>Then, why not pass the Rumsfeld clip along to your friends?
>
>Thanks for all you do.
>
>Sincerely,
>

Kerry flew down to Haiti in the back seat of an SR-71 to meet with Jean-Bertrand Aristide and receive his personal endorsement.

No, really, I have it on good authority from a confidential informant who has supplied reliable intelligence in the past.

A friend of the pizza delivery guy is sure he heard Rita Cosby say it when he was coming down from ecstasy.

Kerry says whatever he thinks the group he's talking to wants to hear, then says the opposite to the next group. The press lets him get away with one lie after another, so he grows more arrogant by the day. Ego booming, he's prancing around the country on a private jet, guarded by secret service, while he plays shadow president. He's running on the Clinton playbook. I hope we see him implode, and soon. Botox treatments won't cure what ails him. He needs a brain implant.
