UBL says: Vote Kerry

He's just shoring up his "blame America first" base.

Kerry is not like you and me.
He was raised as an aristocrat.
He grew up in France and Switzerland, attending boarding schools that European royalty sent their kids to.
His mistake is that he still believes in his superiority.
That's why he told the fellow last weekend that it was none of his business what foreign leaders Kerry had met.
Bush on the other hand grew up in America.
Bush's family is a rugged upper class crowd, but all American.

Kerry honestly thought that this would get him votes, and it will, amoungst the NPR crowd.
We have only begun to see the truely ace grade, USDA Prime lunacy that will mark the Kerry Camp.

I'll give you a serious answer.
The Dems have been meeting with Euro Labour/Socialist Democrat party reps for quite some time to coordinate the attack on Bush's foreign policy. (If you haven't read the details on this, go to this 10/23/03 article in AFTENPOSTEN.)
http://www.aftenposten.no/english/local/article.jhtml?articleID=653868 After the 2002 fall elections, they were desperate to attack Bush on foreign policy, but were afraid of the "unpatriotic" label. So they recruited their Euro counterparts to do their dirty work for them. I believe Senator Biden is the major conduit between Kerry and "foreign leaders". (Again, read the AFTENPOSTEN article.)
The Dems have had their hand in all the criticism and recalcitrance from New Europe, using it to undermine U.S. policy from Iraq and Iran to N. Korea. This might be less credible if it weren't obvious that the major Dem foreign policy plank is "Bush alienated our allies...Kerry will mend relations". Thus they believe it serves their strategy every time the French Foreign Minister points out how stupid and blood thirsty Bush is. Then the Dems dutifully follow up with pronouncements as to Bush's failure to bring allies on board.
So, if we assume Kerry has been steeped in these back channel dealings with "foreign leaders"---AND we assume he believes the "Bush-alienated-our-allies" line helps his campaign...it probably seemed perfectly natural to him to "brag" about his support from abroad. It simply didn't register with him that his first PUBLIC words on this would be so controversial.
Note that it was Biden who lead the effort to undo the damage from Kerry's statement. I'd give almost anything to have been in Biden's office when he heard Kerry publicly disclose all their secrets. I bet a few of his plugs fell out.

Thanks for the link, analysis. The enemies within will use all tools foreign and domestic to acquire power. As we vote them out of office everywhere they'll become even more radical and extremist. If they can't acquire power peacefully (informationally challenged voters), they will resort to force.

To me it is simple, whose good opinion does JFK the third crave, fly-over Americans or educated elite euros?
To: Timeout
Let me add that JFK III is so disconnected from middle America, that he doesn't have a clue as to what plays well in Peoria.

My theory is that JF**K hasn't transitioned from 'rat partisan primary candidate to the President of all the people. Case in point was the Deanesque blowup at a forum questioner.
The 5 day haitus in the Rockies will be attended by his entire campaign staff to get Kerry re-oriented to the National campaign.
Look for a sharp turn to right next week. One tip off will be a stand-up shot of "Liveshot" Kerry going into church with a bible.
To: The Wizard
You got that right! LOL If I was a Dem. I would be afraid a the big Bush/Cheney SMACK-DOWN!
LOL Wasn't Cheney great yesterday?! The way he spoke made a world of difference in how the rest of the world responded to yesterdays attacks.
I was never so proud of any Vic President as I was Cheney yesterday. Our allies are more our allies today than yesterday and Kerry has got to be peeing his pants privately. "Foreign leaders" or "Other Leaders" counting on Kerry beating Bush, my a$$! I never believed him, but if a breath of it was true Kerry's remarks about our current allies yesterday all but sealed his fate.
For the 1st time in a couple of months I free a sigh of relief. The more Kerry talks the more he gets the big smack-down! I love it!

It wasn't meant to mean support for him but rather a negative for Bush.
