[history]
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) - Sen. Barbara Boxer kicked off her re-election campaign Tuesday by casting the race as a choice between positive, family friendly values she said she represents and extremist positions she said her opponent holds on such issues as the environment, abortion rights and gun control.

Boxer also benefits from California's Democratic tilt: the state has 1.1 million more registered Democrats than Republicans.I wonder how many of those registered democrats felt when they heard this last year?

Will you be standing on the same stage with these fine examples of agenda-driven sickos?

Not to a leftist, it's not. It's that warped manner of thinking, after all.

Boxer calls Jones out of touch?
Look who's talking, Babs!
If "in touch" means being a shrill, raving leftist, then I'm proudly out of touch.

Barbara Boxer is too extreme left even for California. What does she bring to her job in the Senate but an obsessive complusion to kill as many unborn babies as possible?

"If there ever was a time when our families need protecting, it is now," she said. Yeah, from stuff like gay marriage. OOPS, she and her friends are on the other side on THOSE issues!

Bill Jones extremist? lololol
he's almost RINO for G-sakes!!!
Senator Boxer is a national socialist LIAR. A carpetbagger from New York who I have yet to EVER see in California, Barbara Boxer as I understand holds a distinction for being the "slowest" member of the Senate. She once took the Senate floor to rant about mistreatment of women in Afghan. - WOW, WHAT A BOLD POSITION!

Barbara Boxer. Campaigning as the family-friendly candidate.
I'll retire to Bedlam.*

Boxer will probably be reelected easily, as Jones has the personality of a tree stump.

Jones has been endorsed by Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and is attempting to cast his Senate challenge as the next chapter in a political revolution that swept Democrat Gray Davis out of the governor's office and Schwarzenegger in last year. I hope Governor Schwarzenegger actively campaigns this fall, as he did last month for Propositions 57 and 58, for Bill Jones.
Boxer has earned the GOP's ire during her 12 years in the Senate by taking outspoken, liberal positions on such issues as the environment, gun control and abortion.
To me, there are several more important issues for the federal government on which she has failed. She:
- opposed many judicial appointments,
- opposed President Bush's tax cut proposal, and
- opposed the resolution to authorize force against Iraq.
She is also among the few Senators listed in an article a few days ago about Senators beating the stock market by 25% and also beating investment brokers, and she opposed the Recall of Gray Davis.

I guess they don't remember that Herschenson got closer to unseating that witch and he was to the right of Atilla the Hun by today's "Republican" standards.

I don't care whether the accuser is right or left, it's a joke for any multi-millionaire professional politician to say that "they're in touch with the people".
