[history]
A new street sign in honor of the 101st Airborne Division hangs over a major road in Mosul, Iraq. Though it appears that something was lost in the translation, the spirit and intent of the people of Mosul is obvious and sincere.

They truly hate our troops. John F'n Kerry needs to send his task force over and figure out how to get us out of this quagmire. I'm sure putting Saddam back in his palaces and the people in spiderholes will be part of the plan.

I'm proud of every American that is willing to stand up fro freedom and the price of freedom. As far as the 101 goes.
We Owe You
We owe you all for all you do,
You risk it all each day.
Wed like to send our deepest thanks,
To you wed like to say.
You are our bravest and our best,
Were proud of all of you.
You serve your country selflessly,
Your country knows this too.
So know that while youre far away,
This nation backs your fight.
With your hard work and Gods Dear Grace,
This all will come out right.
So please stay safe and do your best,
Our hearts are with you there.
We hope you know that here back home,
The people really care.

On the other hand some poor Iraqi boy trying to write his Grandmother twenty years from will have to write:
Fatima Hassan
639 101st Airborne Divission (Air Assault) Street
Mosul, Ninevah
Iraq
That had better be one big envelope!
(the Divission will never go away, Like Cleveland, once a name is misspelled it tends to stay that way!)

See all that hate. Kerry needs to straighten this out.
; )
Freedom
Freedom isnt free you know,
It isnt even cheap.
Many paid the highest price,
So freedom, we could keep.
Soldiers fought and soldiers died,
In many foreign lands.
In forest deep and thick with snow,
And even desert sands.
We fought at sea and in the air,
The battle rages still.
We must back our troops today,
And show we have the will.
To stay the course until its done,
And then again well see.
That freedom still belongs to us,
But never is it free.

I can't wait until the RNC starts airing ads of the people of Iraq supporting our troops. And to see Kerry's face when this happens...priceless. LOL

Kewl! Our troops rock!
I heard on a talk show that our soldiers were not capable of the diplomatic end of the Iraq situation...that professional people were needed.
I disagree! Look at the UN idiots and then look at our soldiers. Who has done more to help the individuals in Iraq?

LOL! This reminds me of a street in the county seat just south of me. It was opened right after WWI. It is called "Champs Ulysses."
Somehow, I think some Franklin doughboys were real impressed with Paris.
