John Kerry misrepresented his voting record on Cuba during a recent visit to Florida, the Miami Herald reports.
Here's how reporter Peter Wallsten put it in a story published Sunday: "John Kerry had just pumped up a huge crowd in downtown West Palm Beach, promising to make the state a battleground for his quest to oust President Bush, when a local television journalist posed the question that any candidate with Florida ambitions should expect: "What will you do about Cuba?

LOve it! NOte when Kerry wants to have it both ways, he always nit picks about the process. "I am totally in favor of this but didn't like the way it was done so I voted against it". Seems Messieur Kerry doesn't like anyone to do anything any way but his way or he is a liar. Take your pick.

" 'I didn't like the way they did it. I thought the process was butchered,' he said." Spoiled B***H! That's what he says about everything, I couldn't have my way so I took my vote and went home.

Seems Messieur Kerry doesn't like anyone to do anything any way but his way or he is a liar. Take your pick. Neither sounds good in a leader.
Is there another option?

What did he say - and when did he say it?
A governing question that should be central to the GOP attack on this backtracking bozo.
To: DoctorMichael
Asked Friday to explain the discrepancy, Kerry aides said...I'm surprised his aides didn't get nasty like Kerry did the other day, and insist the questioner talk about how he votes.
Doesn't Kerry know we cherish having a secret ballot in this country?

He spins so much they ought mount him as a whirly-gig atop the Capitol to keep pigeons away.
Ummm ... wait ... with his charm he, even as a whirly-gig, he'll attract flocks and flocks of "them birds, them dirty birds, them dirty, filthy birds".
Okay, I have another idea ... he could rent himself out to Roto-rooter.

Well, a third option is he is as crazy as Ross Perot's crazy aunt, you know the one in the attic. Or he could have premature Altzheimers. Just reaching here. I think the man has fibbed and talked his way out of so many things so long that he thinks he can do it on a national state. We need to face it, Clinton was a far better liar. Remember Bob Kerrey saying Clinton was an unusually good liar. Kerry is not like Gore who confused fantasy with truth, I think Gore really did that. Kerry just is the type who talks his way out of things and has never been confronted in his life.

Here's my bet!! The media will begin, even more, to turn these lies off. The slime of the dems will develop a glib phrase to fend off each of these eternal inconsistencies in Kerry' current/past words. And, every time he is caught (most times the media won't say anything) he are his sewer workers will say, Oh, that's just another XXXXX."
Have no idea what the phrase might be but it will be semi-cute and allow the crap weasels to avoid the heart of the issue. It will be much like Willie and his "bimbo eruptions."

This guy would make a fine Demoncrat President. Not so good for the country, but great for Demoncrat socialist causes where lying is essential to get people to buy in to your plans.

Haha,,what also comes thru with Kerry is his utter snobish disdain for the "common man". The man oozes condescension. Toward us as a country {foreign leaders are sure to wow us, right?}, to us as voters, to anyone who disagrees with Little Lord Faunteleroy-Kerry. He just doesn't have the common touch which Bush has, Clinton had {no evil jokes} and which Reagan had. Carter was a snoot too. JFK had the common touch and maintaiined his princely quality,,I think men respected him. To be a princeling, rich, Brahmin and to be able to relate to ordinary people requires honesty and integrity and Kerry has neither.

We need to face it, Clinton was a far better liar Definitely.
Kerry gets himself in trouble by bringing up things from the past that Clinton would not be dumb enough to dredge up. Clinton was more "future oriented" in the way he spoke.
Also, Kerry overuses words like "all," "always," and "most." Clinton seemed able to avoid that unfortunate speech habit, which was common among children of the 60's. (I still have that habit)
Kerry can't seem to grow up.

Just another Godless liberal with no moral compass who thinks truth is just words and facts are merely perceptions.
To: All
Parsing words, while an interesting exercise in verbal gymnastics, is exceedingly frustrating when the future of the country is on the line.
I guess this clown thinks he can keep this crap up for the next 9 months in these 'select', regional audiences and NOT have the public/nation-at-large notice this stuff.
To: FrankR
LOL
First time I heard THAT one. Where's REGISTERED to give this proper graphic treatment?
To: Tacis
How about his one.
Thats just another distraction from the true issues of this election like jobs, health care, the downtrodden homosexuals blah blah blah
.
