Kidding aside, and this is to anyone, what exactly is a neocon? My handy Dictionary of American Conservatism (Louis Filler) lists Jeane Kirkpatrick as one. That's good enough for me but is there a pithy definition? Buellar?

Well when you break "neocon" down. Neo means new. "Con" is short for conservative. Therefore, it means new conservative. Neocon is a slang word used by the angry leftist to describe a post 911 conservative. Basically it is a word used by liberals, socialist, communist, and elitist to describe someone that is 21st century "Hawk".
