Mel, your remarks disappoint me. Thought you were a bigger man than fall for the tricks of the left.

I should have said anti-Iraq war. Believe it or not, not everyone who opposed that particular war is a pacifist. I suppose you will beginning of a long line of fair weather friends at FR who will attack Mel as "violent."
To: sonsofliberty2000
Clearly Drudge was fed this information by Sean Hannity.
How despicable that he found that to be the most important aspect of an hour long interview.

It's that word "good" that makes it a true statement. You can't be peddling the outrageous stuff the left peddles and still be considered a good Christian, by any Biblical standard anyway.

And how quickly we turn on Mel. I would like to know more about the WMD too. This is a canard. We don't have to agree with Gibson on everything, or anything for that matter.
I agree with the Pope that abortion is evil. I disagree with the Pope that the proper response to mass murdering scum is to simply leave them alone to murder some more.
It doesn't make me any less a Catholic or a fan of what the Pope has done for freedom and liberty in this world.

If he's not already here, Mel needs to discover FR!
Of course Mel is well-acquainted with FreeRepublic. Here's a photo of him reading from some FR posts he printed out:

really? so if Susan Sarandon has directed the Passion, and Alec Baldwin played Jesus, and Katie Couric was Mary, and Disney distributed the film, it would be doing just as well?
To: Mr. Mojo
Thx, I knew that. ;-)
One more thing; To understand where Mel is coming from, I think one would have to have heard his father, who is conservative to the bone and avidly against the "New World Order".

This is to be expected - he is from Australia, afterall.
Not exactly a hotbed of Patriotism and war.
He will have to be excused for that, and one must quiety explain our culture of digging in and fighting for our country until the death.

Sean Hannity said he will air the full hour interview with Mel Gibson tomorrow, March 16 on his radio show (3-6pm ET). He didn't say exactly what time the interview would air.

To: lugsoul
Wrong. That poster said Gibson made millions off of likely Bush supporters. That's false. He made millions from all walks of life and many, many Christians who are not Bush supporters. The fact that he ties in people who see this movie because they are Christian therefore there are Bush supporters is ludicrous.
To: ShadowDancer
I said Bush supporters, not Republicans. I bet that tons of Bush supporters did see The Passion.
If you think that Kerry is a religious, moral man then you missed his quote about if God was on our side or not and his daily lies.
I didn't say Christian or Republican, YOU DID. Sayonara.

I have doubts about Bush too, but in all likelihood I'll vote for him come November. In all likelihood I won't reward Bush's drunken sailor spending with my vote. When you can't say for sure the democrat wouldn't spend LESS that's a reason to stay home. I can't say that for certain. The final straw if I do stay home is the report Bush hid the costs of the medicare bill from the Republicans in congress. Just another socialist lite who better give me a reason between now and November.
To: Sprite518
Touchy aren't we. Must be pretty peeved about Gibson.
To: sonsofliberty2000
Did Kerry pass a law allowing Aussies to vote for American presidents?
To: sonsofliberty2000
If true... it is a very dissappointing view. I admit I am bewildered by the fact that so MANY people have completely forgotten the HISTORY behind the WMD claims. I am equally as dismayed by the fact that we haven't found any. Mel's view is rather disquieting, in so much as he is a conservative and if conservatives are losing faith it doesn't bode well for the administration.

Hahahahahahahaha. This is hilarious. At least some of the personality worshippers of both President Bush & Mel Gibson will have a cow over this.
To: ShadowDancer
Actually, he made a lot of money off of black evangelicals, many of whom vote Democratic.
