I will pat myself on the back for reading between the lines close to a month ago.

IMO, I think Imus has dementia and Brokaw is from South Dakota where it's a different world altogether. My SD relatives were flying to target countries when we were on HIGH ALERT. They are democrats like Brokaw.

What about Melanie Griffith & Antonio Banderas? I believe they have huge digs in Spain. They could lose big if redistribution of wealth becomes law. The elected guy in Spain looks like he could be one of the stars of queer eye for the straight guy - he's effeminate, not looking like a tower of strength.

I thought I had detected as much in various interviews, and I am glad he is stepping forward. Gibson is the premiere guerrilla marketer of our day, I will say that much.

So who should be the famous people to speak out for us? Not really directed at you, but I sometimes wish they wouldn't speak out, or perhaps it would be better to say nobody should really care what performers say or think (unless it's about their particular profession) or give them a platform. It's great that there are various types of performers out there who might be Conservative, but way too many people hang on their words, when the truth is, it's just their opinion, and they don't know any more than you or I.
It's like I don't go up to a mechanic and ask his opinion on politics and elections, so perhaps some shouldn't be hanging on every word that an actor has to say about politics, because they are going to find themselves disappointed at some point.
I'm not trashing Mel either, he's done a lot of great things and movies, and any statements he may or may not have made about WMD (which I don't even think WMD was the reason for the war, but that's for another thread) don't change my opinion of him.

From 2/24/04 Interview with Diane Sawyer:
"When this is all over, the first thing we are going to do is go somewhere where no one can ever find me,' [Gibson] said this week. 'You know where that is? I'm going to pitch my tent right next to the weapons of mass destruction.'"
Interview with Peggy Noonan, Feb. Readers Digest: Noonan: "Give me the headline you want to see on the biggest paper in America the day after 'The Passion' opens."
Gibson: "War Ends."
The best part is that your nasty little replies that await me will just prove my original point. Indeed, I am not worthy of such satisfaction.

In light of Today Show's ratings slide, did Matt feel bamboozled by a bunch of conservatives this morning? I hope so.
Punked by Hannity, Drudge and Gibson on his own turf. lol

Hi, fv - Hannity comes on here at 2 pm so I haven't heard anything yet & haven't had TV on any channels that would cover this; I often listen to Hannity so it won't be a hardship to listen today anyway(he, he!).
I'm sticking with Rush, quirky Savage, or Glenn Beck.
Agree with you. I like Hannity, too, but sometimes I'd like to see a little more outrage and a little less promotion...he does have an audience to build so I can't fault him too much. It will be fun to listen today especially to see how it pairs up to some of the comments on this thread...mine included!

I think you named them all. I love these trendy words that the hard left love to use. Where do they come up with these words? Perhaps at Starbucks when they(in their own minds)are feeling(notice I did not say "thinking" something that is a foreign concept to the leftist in this country) so smart even though they just $4 for a cup of coffee. LOL!

LOL...I like to listen to Brokaw talk...not for what he says, just the way he says it. Sounds like its Christmas time and he's been dipping into the eggnog...the special eggnog. I can imagine him singing "White Christmas" a la Bing Crosby with that voice!

Lazamataz,
Do me a favor kid, and don't talk to me. I know you really want to be a part of my conversation, but I am not going to entertain your immature Brain. Here is some advise for you. Learn a word before you use it, or you are going to look like a useful idiot such as yourself. Good Day :-)

Hope you slept well.
I surely did; thanks! Hope nothing happens to Antonio Banderas..."he's too sexy!"

Well when you break "neocon" down. Neo means new. "Con" is short for conservative. Therefore, it means new conservative. Neocon is a slang word used by the angry leftist to describe a post 911 conservative. Basically it is a word used by liberals, socialist, communist, and elitist to describe someone that is 21st century "Hawk".
