LM here.

It's been a while since we had a thread along these lines.

I can tell from comments I am seeing in threads, on abuse reports, and in Freepmail that some people are unhappy with various policies and their implementations by the staff here.

I've seen allegations that certain factions are picked on. I've seen allegations that the moderators have killed activism. I've heard rumors that we killed Kenny, and even that we killed the radio star. I see certain personality conflicts acting up, and know that one (or both) sides in it feel that we aren't doing what we should.

So let's open this can of worms.

This thread is for making your grievances heard. If you think something stinks or is wrong, make your case here. Back it up with facts. Let the audience at large weigh in on your evidence.

I'll read the thread. Jim will too in all likelihood. So will the other moderators. Depending upon how well you make your point, and depending on if you can convince Jim, me, the other moderators, and/or the world, maybe you can change things. And if you don't, then it might make you feel better to have vented, so it won't make this thread a total loss.

I'm not going to reply to this thread for quite a while. Rather, I am going to sit back and watch to try and get a feel for the general tenor. I encourage those who are both happy and unhappy with things to particpate in this thread.

Let's rock.

For some idiotic reason,

I think I've been mixing up nopardons with someone else from however long ago. And I don't know who the someone else was.

As I said above, I've had some great exchanges with no pardons recently.

I think still, that eons ago, we went round and round about something but I don't recall what it was and she doesn't seem to remember it at all. So, maybe that foggy memory was about someone else, too.

Anyway--for whatever reason--happy to have even feisty dialogue if it can be mutually respectful.

I am so buzzed with WABC Radio Rush,Sean,Mark,Laura,Monica,Steve,FreeRepublic.

I use to visit the NA a lot when I first joined but because of those who made fun of my spelling and use of grammar. I moved to the RF where they made fun of my Religion. LOL!

This can be a ruff play ground, but I endured and improved some of my weakness!

My favorite places are NES & DD and someone is always lurking on the various forums and link to interesting chats!

Well some OTHER idiot musta been through the building because there were OTHER posters up that weren't there earlier in the evening. These new flyers had the same graphics as the ANSWER posters of last year except they are now from UNITED FOR PEACE AND JUSTICE (Yea right. I got your peace and justice right here buddy).

These were advertisements for a 'March 20, Day of Global Protest' (Blah blah blah). At the bottom they had a ad for Aug.29 protest at the Pubbie National Convention in NYC.

They got the same treatment from yours truly. Just trying to maintain a kommie-free building, don'tcha know.
