After-Action: DC Chapter FReeps Left for Exploiting War Dead and Wounded

Leftists participated in a ghoulish attempt to exploit war dead and wounded for propaganda as noted in this thread: Dover to D.C. Memorial Procession [Left Blood Dance DoverAFB to Walter Reed Hospital, W House].

The Doctor of FReep conducted a spectacular one man FReep of the leftists outside Dover Air Force Base yesterday as noted in this thread: Code Pinko Medea Benjamin Flees When Confronted by Doctor Raoul at Dover AFB.

Today, the left hit a low point. Demonstrating outside Walter Reed Army Hospital, where many of our most seriously wounded Iraqi troops are, the leftists numbered about a hundred people. Religious leftists, pacifists, and a few misguided members of military families were interpersed with a couple dozen more hard core revolutionary types.

The media was out in full force with dozens of cameras and recorders for radio reporters. Instead of just getting the leftist view, 3 DC Chapter FReepers were out to offer a dissenting opinion.

The honor roll for this gathering of eagles: Kristinn, tgslTakoma, and BillF.

All of us were interviewed. Various verbal matches between us and the leftists were taped by TV and radio reporters. AP, CBS, NBC, Czech TV, local Fox 5 news, and local radio stations WTOP and WMAL were among those interviewing us. Watch your media for reports.

The CBS radio report had a story about the demontration highlighting a father and mother complaining about their son being sent to Iraq. It simply noted that a "handful of pro-war demonstrations" were at the edge of the rally.

Kristinn was his usual calm self when being interviewed. I voiced my great anger and disgust at the leftists demonstrating at a hospital with war wounded. Hope I didn't rant too harshly.

tgslT gave numerous interviews, but had an incident (nothing too serious) with a leftist. I'll let her describe it, but add my comments after hers.

The point that we kept emphasizing was that the anti-war groups are cynically using war dead and wounded to advance their propaganda.

Leftists are reassembling at White House in a couple hours. Some are walking the 6 miles to the White House in a "funeral march".

The FReep will be continued at the White House. More will be added later.

When everything was going down outside Walter Reed, somebody drove by in an SUV and yelled at the leftists.

I think that the guy yelled "F'in liberals." I know that this drive-by counterprotestor used the F word. Maybe he said "F'in traitors?"

Everything was pretty crazy at that point. What do you recall?

After the drive-by guy cussed the leftists, the twenty-something Abbie Hoffman look-alike with the bike said: "He's driving an SUV. No wonder he supports the Iraq War to get gas for his SUV."

I called the guy who said he was former Special Forces a traitor for standing with those who support the people putting our soldiers in Walter Reed.

He was walking with a CNN reporter at the time.

Many of the "soldiers" who testified at the Jane Fonda & John Kerry Winter Soldier political show trial turned out to be people who just temporarily assumed the names of actual soldiers and others who clearly were not in the service.

Wonder how many of the veterans with them were likewise frauds. That guy who said he was in artillary in the Gulf War just did not strike me as truthful.

How many of these guys claiming to be veterans are just left-wing "actors" used to fool and manipulate the media? I doubt that the media checks the accuracy of their claims to be vets.

I doubt that the media checks the accuracy of their claims to be vets.

They never check out that claim as that would go against their basic assumptions when they go to get a story that their editor will print.

Notice the guy in the B&W picture standing behind the banner on the right. His sign says "Iraqi Oil isn't Worth My Sons Blood".

He is one of Richmond's professional protestors. He sometimes posts on a website locally that also carries articles rejoicing in the deaths of our Troops, calling them mercenaries. I just don't get it.

See my comments and those of JVB towards the end of this thread about leftists possibly pretending to be veterans. Possibly some of these parents of military are phony also.

I doubt that the parents of military who claim their child died in the war are phony because it would be too easy to check out that.

Do you still have the news video that you taped, from this MFSO, Code Pink, etc., sponsored blood dance at Walter Reed on March 16, 2004?

If so, perhaps it can be copied and gotten to CNS News reporter - to prove that Code Pink lies about coffins and blood dancing at Walter Reed.
