Tell the Spanish embassy in D.C. how you feel if they pull troops out of Baghdad

They say Spain is pretty though I've never been.....Elton John

I have heard that Spain is pretty and had just begun planning a trip for early fall that would have included Spain in the itinerary. Not now. I just phoned the Spanish embassy in Washington. First, I sent my condolences, then I told them that if they pull troops out of Baghdad, there is no way I will visit their country.

If you have a message for them ---

Embassy of Spain
2375 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, Washington DC 20037

Telephone: (202) 452-0100
Fax: (202) 833-5670
E-mail: spain@spainemb.org

I did!

Told them this was another reason I was totally against Socialism and liberalism. My freedom, my country, my grandchildren's lives are in safe hands with George Bush as President of the United States.

They just gave away the freedom of their citizens, the future of their grandchildren and their country. They now have to do as told by terrorists.

Doug, how about mentioning their
P.M.'s vicious attacks on Bush &
Blair, calling them liars & that
he's against any use of force
against terrorism?!?!?!

Next to that, Iraq is a BLIP.

(Good idea to contact them, tho.)

On the contrary it will mean a lot for those who will no doubt be recalled from their positions around the world.

Made my call...but the bozo on the end of the call seemed little, if any, interested in my 'cancelling' my planned vacation to Valencia and Balearas.

I will call again later, and again later, and again later!

It would be better sending the message to Zapatero, not the Embassy, because Aznar is still the President of Spain.

Why waste our time?

Spain has capitulated to the terrorists.

May they get blown to kingdom come!

To hell with em.

I will hope that while FReepers are contacting the representatives of Spain here in the USA, and sending them their sympathy and condolences for the terrible loss of life they have suffered, they will remember to speak in a civil and reasoned manner.

Spain has long been a steadfast ally of the USA. The people here in the Embassies are here because they have desired to be here as representatives of their country to us. It is doubtful if they voted for the Socialist group who have carried their recent election. But protocol does prevent them from making negative comments about their Gov't.

DFU, may I recommend the lovely area of Salobrena for your vacation. Google it up and peruse.
