[history]
Congressional black Democrats said comparisons shouldn't be made between the struggle by homosexuals to legalize same-sex "marriage" and the civil rights movement of the 1960s.
Members of the Congressional Black Caucus said they are on shaky ground with their constituents after the presumptive Democratic nominee Sen. John Kerry compared the two issues during a town hall meeting in Jackson, Miss., last week.

There should be operatives on the ground, working African-American churches to work with their common values ground in such a way that even if they don't vote for Bush, they won't vote for Kerry, as in sitting on their hands in protest

When churches become active for conservatives they get sued or the IRS goes after them.

What could they do about flyers left in the windshields of the congregation showing John Kerry performing a gay wedding?

When churches become active for conservatives they get sued or the IRS goes after them. Correct, and that includes black churches.

I think blacks are on the same side as us and we should work to make them realise that the Republiccnas are not against them, but rather, FOR them.

I'm not surprised the Black Caucus hasn't moved on this issue yet. They're mostly busy trying to figure out how to take down leading Republicans. They don't have much time for anthing else.

Maybe the DNC sends them a bonus check every year.

Black people can in no way be compared to homosexuals of all colors. This should be stopped. It is a disgrace to a race of people.

Hey I agree. However, we have been told that only Blacks can speak for Blacks, and since most Blacks vote democrat, this will present a problem.
I have seen no one yet who has taken the "PERVERTS" on and won.
The Supremes gave "sodomy" a civil right, I don't think the perverts are going to listen to Black people. The perverts got themselves credibility right up there in the "highest" house of justice.

Yep, I agree. Same sex marriage is identical to the civil rights movement.

Reminds me of a story I read during the 2000 election. Old, black gentleman with piece of paper in his hand going to vote. Reporter asked him what it was and he replied that it had the names of the candidates he was supposed to vote for. I'm still optimisic that this will be a thing of the past and believe more blacks are coming to an awakening about which party respects them more and is willing to do more for them.

Homosexual Agenda Ping.
The Dem'o'craps are surprised that their black constituents (shuffle shuffle) aren't toeing the line. I guess the leftists figured that black people didn't mind having their being born black compared to voluntary performance of same sex sodomy.
Wow, Democrapts are stupid. And I am happy.
Let me know if anyone wants on/off this pinglist.
