I agree, I hope we really do close down the German bases and move into Poland and others who have helped us along the way, unlike the French (if we had any bases there I'd want to close them, too) and Germans.

I watched Mel Gibson in the Patriot last night and couldn't help but notice that one of the peoples who helped save the day for the militia were the French! Their ships apparently finally showed up and provided artillery bombardment. Was this factual? Seems almost totally unlike anything I've heard about the French & war.
