There's a HUGE Polish community in the Fremont area. (We were discussing Fremont the other night when mylife said he was from Youngstown.)
Those with Polish heritage sure know how to put on some fun wedding receptions, too -- although I never did master the polka any better than I did square dancing! LOL I get dizzy too easily. :)

I got the disco graphic from
this article about those with honorable military service and those without. I love this part:
"And how about Tony McAuliffe? Like Mr. Moore, Tony never got anywhere near a PRI circle or an LMG square -- he was allergic to gunpowder. Or maybe it was saltpeter. Guys like Tony always manage to develop allergies whenever it's time to serve their country in a non-profit-making capacity. How would McAuliffe have stacked up alongside Private Pyle at Fort Zinderneuf? Does he know the words to:
