"The VVAW was not a fraternal, American Legion kind of organization by any means. ANSWER and MOVEON.ORG are Girl Scouts, compared to the VVAW. The were militant and they were violent."

Right you are. Bear in mind that during the last four months of 1971 alone, 500 VVAW members were arrested.

To give you some idea of how far left they were, not only had the VVAW sent several delegations to Paris in 1971 to "negotiate" with the Vietcong and NVM representatives, but Al Hubbard even went to Hanoi--before Jane Fonda did.

Hubbard was also awarded a prize from the USSR, which he accepted. (The name escapes me for the moment.)

The conservative media and the Bush campaign had better start talking about this. The liberal "mainstream" media will be exposed as utterly hypocritical since they National Guard non-scandal if they don't talk about Kerry's involvement in a communist group.

And if he was there, did he quit because they voted on the death plan, or because the vote failed?

The thing I'd like to see stressed in these stories is: What did Kerry DO about it? During his Senate testimony the glaring question was "Did you report these atrocities to your superiors? With this story, it's the same issue of ethics and responsible behavior: "A possible assasination plot against United States senators? Who did you inform?"

My cousin in New York emailed me about this early Sunday morning.

At first I thought it was about a tv movie last weekend.

It appears that one of the principals behind the 1971 Vietnam Veterans Against the War assassination plot to kill six southern US Senators is now living up in Gainesville.

ABC's political expert Cokie Roberts father Senator Hale Boggs was on the final six kill list of Scott Camill and his terrorist gang.

No resignation letter from John Kerry to the VVAW has ever been found in Colorado.

The November 10, 1971 date of the alleged letter was just two days before the meeting in Kansas City from the 12-15, 1971 that over three veterans swear John Kerry attended and voted at.

Kerry had to have full awareness of complete details of the plot.

4 days in November.

It sounds like a book title or a movie.

Tom Clancy are you listening?

I love a good novel.

I think a couple of good private detectives should be able to nail it down.

"It appears that one of the principals behind the 1971 Vietnam Veterans Against the War assassination plot to kill six southern US Senators is now living up in Gainesville."

Scott Camil has lived in Gainesville for at least thirty years.

"ABC's political expert Cokie Roberts father Senator Hale Boggs was on the final six kill list of Scott Camill and his terrorist gang."

I've never heard this. The list is described in "Winter Soldiers" as being SEVEN pro-war southern Senators. Of course Boggs was a Representative.

"No resignation letter from John Kerry to the VVAW has ever been found in Colorado."

They looked for it in Madison, WI, where some of the VVAW archives are.

"The November 10, 1971 date of the alleged letter was just two days before the meeting in Kansas City from the 12-15, 1971 that over three veterans swear John Kerry attended and voted at."

Barnes is now a little shaky. But there are two who say they think he was at the meeting.

"Kerry had to have full awareness of complete details of the plot."

Very possibly. But don't get too carried away. There could still be an innocent explanation.

Maybe he resigned and forgot to read the resignation letter. In which case he did not tell himself that he was no longer a member, so it was okay to go to the meeting as long as he didn't belong there.

It's fun thinking like John Kerry. Reminds me of the 60's.

"You're seeing the beginning stage of Comrade Hillary's plan to "save the party."

Ya think? I dunno - IF an assassination plot to kill six U.S. senators were left hanging over J-FK, even Hiterly wouldn't have the lying power to remove it.

FOX had a clip this morning in which a heckler asked Kerry to name the world leaders who endorsed him.

Kerry refused to answer the question, demanding to know if the heckler was a Republican and if he had voted for Bush. After the man finally said he did, Kerry just smirked with contempt and walked away. The crowd was giddy with disdain for Republicans.

Yes, folks, Kerry was calling all Republicans crooks and liars. His disdain for us is so great that he refused to answer our questions. He doesn't even want out votes.

Oh yes, he will make a great President for all of the people--not.

Yep. Hale Boggs was a Congressman, and he died in a plane crash. In 1972. In Alaska. No bodies ever found.

The commiecRATs knew Kerry had this baggage, and that it would be exposed.
He was their throwaway.
I only question the timing. It's a little to early for Hillary to take over.

That's the key: he smirks and walks away, but NEVER really answers a direct question. Even his so called "DBunker" on his website has cagey misdirecting answers to allegations and criticisms that really only feed the believers, and make the rest of us more suspicious.

The VVAW still is militant and violent. Check out their website: http://www.vvaw.org/
