"This Just In" Starts Sunday (New conservative cartoon show)
Spike TV ^
Posted on 03/14/2004 2:28:44 PM PST by GulliverSwift
A new TV show about a conservative columnist will be repeating today (3/14/04). Its first episode (about Ted Kennedy) ran on Friday but I missed it and so did a lot of freepers. If it's any good, expect it to come under fire from the Hollyweird leftists. If we're lucky, maybe we'll get something as good as "South Park."

They said they'd make one about Gore if he won.

Yeah, but I've got a thing for pasties with tassels, but she got to learn how to spin them in opposite directions. ;-)

It is my understanding that They were given the deal to do the show prior to the election regardless of who won. They had long considered that it would probably be Gore they would end up targetting. The show probably would still be on if it had been ole Al.

I don't know a single conservative who could sit through South Park The Movie. Now you do. ;-)

And me! And I watch the show every week-all 5 episodes, and I can hardly wait for season eight.
Maybe this new show will last, and will take the place of Kid Notorious in the hearts of those who loved that show.

This-thing-rocks bump. No more than an impression, we had company and I couldn't watch. A couple of the one-liners were "no prisoners!" brutal. I've got it TiVo'd, can't wait to watch it all.

Well said (#59). Nobody can watch a few episodes of that show and claim they are liberals.

The way that show was setup, it was really really formulaic, so it didn't matter who became president. I thought it was cornier than it was funny, so I doubt with a Gore title that it would have lasted any longer than it did.

don't forget Christopher cracking aborted kids necks open to eat their stem cells.
To: CharlieOK1
I didn't see that one - Christopher Reeve?
To: expatpat
gotta leave the computer, but basically Christopher Reeve was shown breaking aborted kids necks open to eat their stem cells. Gruesome, but it illustrated the anti- fetal stem cells argument beautifully. check the episode guide on their website, or type in South Park Christopher Reeve episode.

Caught the show last night. SHEESH! They truly SKEWERED the left, in brutal fashion. Ted the Swimmer caught it worst; I can't remember ANYONE in the mass media, save the conservative talkradio hosts, hitting him so hard over his Olympic swimming and boozing ability.
They even popped a few good-natured shots off at Sean Hannity (who IMHO deserves it) and Fox News. The "Babe Reporter" thing was spot-on!
