John Kerry says he has no intention of apologizing for calling Republicans "the most crooked ... lying group that I've ever seen." After all, spokeswoman Stephanie Cutter says, it was in response to the "high level ... Republican attack machine" that's been working "to smear" Democrats.

Kerry says he wants to have a serious debate on the issues. Fine. When he finally decides what his positions are, we're sure Republicans will be happy to entertain one.

Kerry's waffled so much, he should be nicknamed "Eggo."

Great editorial, here is a least one newspaper with it's head screwed on right! Maybe we'll move to Pittsburgh. How's the weather, pretty bad?

I've thought that Bush & co ought to re-enforce the 'Flip FLopper' (ie lying) image by refusing to debate until Kerry takes a position and proposes a plan to back it up. Until then he is a light weight...and say it just like that. The press is eating this up and something needs to sting Kerry.

Kerry's a flip-flopper cause he has no defining principles. By that I mean he is no leader. He'd be an awful president..I mean one of the worst in history.

ps. The monthly debate is for free air time. Kerry's response ad ate up ALL the fundraising he'd gotten in past week. I think they've realized just how hard it's gonna be...especially if thier party bosses (soros etc..) lose to CFR & FEC.

Did I miss Miss Kerry's statement on the attack in Madrid?

Ah, but Pittsburgh knows Terayza 'up close and personal'. The Heinz family owns (owned) half the town, and she has great influence over much of the redevelopment.

With regard to Kerry, flip-flop seems too mild, and it doesn't include his flip back from the flop. Perhaps 'radical change'? (It's helpful to use proper identifiers when dealing with Dems....radical fits Kerry perfectly, IMO.

Kerry would be a worse president than clinton and carter (if that could be possible). And, IMHO, even though the liberal revisionists are trying to whitewash them, are the worst presidents in modern times.

I've been referring to "Kerry's radical secular liberalism."

I think we have to point up that Kerry's not simply a liberal but he is the mouthpiece for secularism including (1) abortion worship (he has a 100% pro-abortion voting record), (2) support for the lawless homosexual takeover of the institution of marriage, and (3) aiding and abetting the secularist rampage to eradicate every vestige of religion from American culture.

You conservatives are so unreasonable. Kerry was too busy to comment. Don't you remember? He's rounding up all those foreign leaders to back his campign for the presidency.

The President should not at this point even mention Kerry, but should refer to "My opponent, whoever the Democrat Party wishes to be their flag bearer."

As Rudy Guiliani said make a list with two columns and list each issue on a separate line. Then check off where each party stands on the issue.

Issue____________________R________D____
NATIONAL SECURITY____X_____________
TAX CUTS______________X______________
DECENCY IN WH________X______________
CONSTITUTIONAL GOV.__X_____________
Politics of FEAR_____________________X____
Politics of DIVISION_________________X____
Politics of HATRED__________________X____

Then the political parties can put whatever name on the list that they wish. I would not be surprised if someone other, of course due to unexpected changes, than John Freakin' Kerry to be designated as the saviour of the United States!

Remember they did it in New Joisey for Lousenberg (when all the polls showed that Torchielli was going to lose) and the NJ Supreme Liberals gave it their stamp of approval!

In Texas Hold 'em 4th street comes after the flop. Let's nickname him "4th Street." :-D

I think a great ad would show JFKerry debating with himself showing clips of him taking every side possible.

End the ad "when the winner of the JFKerry/JFKerry debates is clear the President will debate the winner.

Why do we always see Eggo wearing that brown coat? Who is he trying to impress? Or, what image is he trying to lose? Anyway, I'm beginning to hate that coat.

You mean his Adirondack barn coat? The coat's part of a
preppy uniform. Kerry's a paradigm New England preppy.

As bad as they were they were amateurs at national wreckage compared to LBJ. I'm still trying to decide if a Kerry presidency would merely be of Clintonian awfulness or Johnsonian catastrophe.

"We're trying to make this campaign about issues," she said. "Republicans are making it about attacks."

Dems couching their rhetoric in what they do best: VICTIMHOOD.
