I used to fly five or six times a year.
Last year I had to fly once.
This year I will not fly at all.
This way I won't trouble and TSA goons.
Lots cheaper too.

Any idea what the penalty would be for a 22lr shell lost in the lining of a coat? My guess is that it would involve free room and board in Club Fed! For 'only' a 22LR, they might let you off the hook with a few years probation so long as you act as a whore for the BATFags by going around to gunshows and entrapping unwitting Americans.

Surely, morons like Ms Steak Knife understand that her carelessness results in loss of productivity for all those standing behind and beside her. $300.00 sounds cheap.Did you even graduate high school?

I detest flying post-9/11 so much that I drove from coast-to-coast last year instead of subject myself to the Sovietized airports.

Im no threat to the government, said Campbell, the deputy director of the National Immigration Law CenterThe National Immigration Law Center (NILC) is a national support center whose mission is to protect and promote the rights and opportunities of low income immigrants and their family members. NILC staff specialize in immigration law, and the employment and public benefits rights of immigrants. The Center conducts policy analysis and impact litigation and provides publications, technical advice, and trainings to a broad constituency of legal aid agencies, community groups, and pro bono attorneys. NILC maintains offices in Los Angeles, Oakland, and Washington, D.C. and operates the Sacramento policy office for the California Immigrant Welfare Collaborative.

Did you even graduate high school? You pick a subject, any subject. We'll discuss it and when we're done you'll realize how even a non high school graduate is 5 standard deviations above you on the Bell Curve.

Hmmm... if she were flying on 9/11 with her steak knife, and managed to kill a couple of islamofreaks with her evil "weapon", I think you and others here would be applauding her for bravery.(Too bad everyone didn't have a steak knife on 9/11) Now she is merely an "idiot" for breaking some bueracratic edict. I guess you missed the part about her whining publicly about how the evil government mistreated her for enforcing their rules, and how she's so angry at having to pay a $300 fine for this that shes publicly complaining about it. This woman is no hero.
To: Mulder
Maybe we should start concentration camps for the "morons". Maybe you should learn how to argue without using over-the-top Nazi references.

Sounds like something my wife would do- or a lot of women I know. My wife usually has a couple of scalpels on her person as well. People carry all manner of things. You must run with an interesting crowd, as I've never met a woman who carries a steak knife or a scalpel in her purse.

This woman is no hero. Of course she isn't.
But she isn't necessarily an idiot either, nor does she deserve a $300 fine.

My wife carries a steak knife in her purse. She works in a hospital. She often gets an apple or orange from the cafeteria to eat on break. The cafeteria doesn't like people take out their silverware. And if she leaves the knife in her desk, it invariabily walks off. Since she has done this for years, it would be very possible for her to accidently take it to the airport in her purse if she flew. Would your wife throw a hissy fit like this woman did, and then publicly complain afterwards about the indignity of it all?
To: NYCVirago
You must run with an interesting crowd, as I've never met a woman who carries a steak knife or a scalpel in her purse. Hmmm. When I was a kid, I regularly carried kitchen utensils to school to eat my lunch. If my wife grabs something to eat and take with her that requires cutting, what's she supposed to do? Eat with her hands? A knife is just a tool. A handy one at that.
Also, my wife is a surgeon. She keeps a scalpel handy. What's so unusual about this? She's always got medical stuff in her pockets.

That he who says "As far as I'm concerned, let the airlines go out of business" does not want to addressed by me, is okay with me!
