Howlin - please use your ping list.
Jmstein7 has made an excellent ad which details how the economy is comparing (great) to the Clinton economy.
I've written an editorial regarding this matter and the lies the mainstream press have told about the economy are many. Even good Republicans have fallen for it.
Given that people vote with the pocketbook, this is an important ad.
Kudos, jmstein7!

Here's half a commercial...

"I will be voting to give the president of the United States the authority to use force - if necessary - to disarm Saddam Hussein because I believe that a deadly arsenal of weapons of mass destruction in his hands is a real and grave threat to our security." -- John F. Kerry, Oct 2002 Saddam Hussein cannot be permitted to go unobserved and unimpeded toward his horrific objective of amassing a stockpile of weapons of mass destruction. This is not a matter about which there should be any debate whatsoever in the Security Council, or, certainly, in this Nation. - Sen. John Kerry Congressional Record 11/9/97, pp. S12254 -S12255 In my judgment, the Security Council should authorize a strong U.N. military response that will materially damage, if not totally destroy, as much as possible of the suspected infrastructure for developing and manufacturing weapons of mass destruction, as well as key military command and control nodes. Saddam Hussein should pay a grave price, in a currency that he understands and values, for his unacceptable behavior. This should not be a strike consisting only of a handful of cruise missiles hitting isolated targets primarily of presumed symbolic value. - Sen. John Kerry Congressional Record 11/9/97, pp. S12254 -S12255 While we should always seek to take significant international actions on a multilateral rather than a unilateral basis whenever that is possible, if in the final analysis we face what we truly believe to be a grave threat to the well-being of our Nation or the entire world and it cannot be removed peacefully, we must have the courage to do what we believe is right and wise. - Sen. John Kerry Congressional Record 11/9/97, pp. S12254 -S12255 |
The other half is all his current quotes on how this was an illegal war.

The democrats accused Bush of doing the same in 2000. It doesn't seem so smart to accuse them of the same thing after freepers argued on the other side of that in the last election.
Freeper in 2000: "How dare Gore accuse us of talking down the economy?"
Freeper in 2004: "Kerry is talking down the economy!"

Great ad! These are the kind of fact based ads we need to counter the propaganda and lies being promoted by Dems and the liberal media.

Great ad, great text, great video.
My only (trivial) objection is the Valley-Girl-With-A-Slight-Southern-Accent narration. I think she talks a little too fast. But all in all, this is great, great work.

When I tried to open the other commercials on the NASPINO site, my computer said "file not found." I must be doing something wrong. I was able to play the commercial posted on this post fine. However, I see one thing that could make the commercial better: keep the female voice, but make the words speak with more inflection and authority. What I hear now is my teanage daughter trying to read a script as fast as she can. Please, do not let this go out nationally without that corrected.

Very good.
At least some people know how the game's played. the Republican leadership evidently doesn't, seeing how they've never used the fact that democrats are "talking down the economy" as a means of fighting back.
